Good news for all members of myLot who are from India. Now you can get verified by Paypal easily in 2 days. If you have a bank account and internet banking facility, you can verify and remove the limits of paypal easily. Previously, paypal had the credit card system which was quite a big problem for Indians. Now all you need is a paypal account, a national bank account (savings/current) and internet banking facility. This is the procedure; first you will have to add a new bank account from the my account section. After you're done adding your bank account number and the IFSC code of the bank (will be provided on paypal) you have to click on the confirm button. After 2-4 days paypal will send two small payments (usually 1 Rupee) to your account. Once credited you will have to log back into paypal account and enter the amounts that were deposited into your national bank account by paypal. That's it! Once you've done that you'll receive a message that your paypal account has been verified and you can enjoy all its services. Thank God! I've been struggling with paypal for more than 5 years now and finally I can withdraw my hard earned money from paypal easily!

This is a very helpful post to others who have had trouble with verifying PayPal. Does this mean that you have five years of earnings tied up in PayPal? It would be one way to keep from spending it all, I guess.

this is really a good news for our indian friends with problems verifying their paypal accounts. i think this is also applicable to other countries, verifying their accounts using a local bank and not a credit card, what you think?

Congratulations to you. I have posted before just like you do. Please read my discussion at: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2291580.aspx. Some member's response that they couldn't verify their paypal account using local bank account. I think the requirement is internet banking facility. My friend succeeded verify his account using local bank account which internet banking facility. For members who are from Indonesia, we can use BCA (Bank Central Asia) and then register your bank account to use internet banking facility. Happy mylotting!

That must be very good for you. But for me verifying my account thru bank account is impossible because the bank is not supported by the Paypal. I must then use credit card which currently I don't have. Well, I must get one before the end of the year because my I am already very near in the limit.
