Okay so I need a little help here I recently was given this packet of 24 kt gold. The odd thing is, is that its in a package this is what the package reads. (Top to Bottom)

is a must the the mineral collector or the weekend prospector.

Grab a bottle of concentrated nitric acid and drop this into it. After it has bubbled away for a few hours, the remaining solid might just be gold. Chances are though, there wont be anything solid left. Let me quote you, "I recently was given..." - what kind of idiot gives away gold? Don't you feel foolish?

no not really when it came from my grandmother. So I know its old also Its already pure 24kt gold. I can understand if I was scraping out a motherboard then nitric acid yes but when it looks and says 24kt pure mineral I'm sure its already in gold form.
