been hearing a lot about friends and friendship lately. still interesting nevertheless, to have prompted my next topic. just like in real life i'm not really bothered about the color of my friends, which/what families they come from, their backgrounds, whatever. social casts? i'm glad there's none in our society. eventually, at the end of the day, it's one's personality, one's character that makes or breaks a relationship. a lasting friendship is obviously everyone's desire. what say you?

I tend to be friends and have a normal tone of conversation with anybody. I do believe that people however should carefully choose their friends and distinguish them from associates and colleagues. The ability to see the true colours here is the most important ability anyone can hope to possess. For we all know that people can be dangerous in extreme situation and we may lose much by trusting the wrong person. If you pursue a career you should definitely stick to the rule of choosing friends and sides carefully. However, if you live a peaceful and quiet life, then you should be friendly towards others, as much as they do not offend you or try to do you harm.

I don't care about who my friends are. As long as we are comfortable with each other I will stick to them. I don't set qualifications of who I am going to be friend with as long as they accept me for who I am and them as they are.
My Friends and I are not at most time compatible with each other but for us to make our friendship last we learn to accept each bad sides we have and give a lot of understanding. Perhaps, that's important in friendship.

i have this friend of mine... actually my bestfriend.. we have been friends for like 13 years already and we're already 19. But he suddenly did something to himself which made my parents decide not to allow me to be friends with him but I still keep in touch with him secretly
