Check for Alzheimer's - Pretty Amazing.
The following was developed as a mental age assessment by the School of
Psychiatry at Harvard University. Take your time and see if you can
read each line aloud without a mistake.
The average person over 40 years of age cannot do it!
1. This is this cat.
2. This is is cat.
3. This is how cat.
4. This is to cat.
5. This is keep cat.
6. This is an cat.
7. This is old cat.
8. This is fart cat.
9. This is busy cat.
10. This is for cat.
11. This is forty cat.
12. This is seconds cat.
Now go back and read the third word in each line from the top down and I
betcha' you cannot resist passing it on..........
How did you all do? I was very careful when I read the sentences, I wanted to make sure I passed the test. In other words-I fell for it.

well Polly I am twice that and I read it aloud perfectly so guess I do not have Alxheimer's at all. I also read the third word no problem. So many people are amazed that I am neither senile or have alzenheimers is there some law saying all elderly people become loony tunes. as it is not so at all. a lot of people my age are as bright and alert as we were at sixty or forty. he hehe.

well Polly You do find the best that is on the net. I too fell for it. I read it slowly so I wouldn't make a mistake. Only had to read part way down to get a good laugh and yes I'm going to send it on to my older friends. Now if my fingers would just work as good as I think my mind does I'ed be OK.

I got to reading the sentences, then I remembered . . . that I fell for this at least one other time in the past. The fact that I remembered must mean that my Alzheimer's prevention therapy is working, at least for now, at least I think it is, at least, well, maybe it is not. After all that is long term memory, if it happened before, and Alzheimer's destroys . . .Alzheimer's de. . . oh, shoot, I cannot remember just what it was I was going to say.

I fell for it again too. I sat here by myself carefully reading the sentences outloud. When I got to the third words, duh.... Then I thought "who do I share this with" All my friends. Yep, that proves it, my marbles are all intact. I just had to check on all of you.
