I would definitely suggest chrome as it is the fastest. If mu want to ask for My-lot especially, it has lots of java script loading, so chrome would be the ideal choice. As far as reliability is concerned, both chrome and Firefox are almost excellent in recovering your stuff if the browser crashed. Firefox is better(Personal experience) in recovering from crashes or accidently shutting down tabs while browsing. And yes chrome does keeps it password in unencrypted form. So if you want to store your Mylot id and password on PC, firefox is slightly better otherwise go for chrome
Definitely No internet explorer.

Hi sanjani, I haven't tried other browsers before except IE and Mozilla Firefox. I have been using IE since the first day I have got in the web. Later on I find I find Firefox is more convenient for me to do mylot posting I then shift to it. The local banks here allow customers to use IE to deal with all kind of online matters. May be it's more secured to so, or by reasons of ... Therefore, for no other choice and I have to use both the browsers at the same time
Have a nice day

Actually I am using five browser (Opera, Firefox, SeaMonkey, Safari, Chrome) for many reasons. I rarely used IE, for no reason. Well, I think its up to the user which he/she thinks useful for their interest. Do not stick with one(1) browser try to explore with others beside its all FREE. I don't recommend any web browser but, I often used Firefox I can add many add on. I also used SeaMonkey I can chat using ChatZilla similarly to Firefox. My alternative Opera is for it resume any files format for downloading.

Hello sanjani,
Both are good, but I choose the Gecko family (Firefox, Flock, SeaMonkey...) for a few personal reasons :
Both have a spell checker useful to post a discussion or a response here. As I'm using two spell checkers, in English and French, I prefer Firefox, because it is able with an add-on to change the language on the fly, and Chrome/Chromium can't.
I am also using some other useful add-ons for Firefox, like FlashGot and NoScript that don't exist in Chrome (and can't exist, because Chrome lacks the infrastructure to port them).

I am using Safari as a web browser. I am not sure what is the advantage of Safari over Chrome and Firefox. But I guess, the previous responder would attest that Chrome is better for mylotting. Hmmm. I like Safari. Just like that. Hehehe. No much reasons. Hehehe. :)

Chrome is better for mylotting because I am telling this from my own experience. Once I was creating a new discussion in mylot and my browser ( chrome )crashed. But when I reopened chrome I was surprised to see my discussion was recovered and I was able to post ( the discussion was long and I typed it fro 15 min ). Chrome saved and recovered all my hard work. So I suggest Chrome for mylotting.
