I bought a touch-screen laptop a year ago after I saw one of my friend using one. I was so happy to own it even though the price was a bit expensive. At first, it was cool to browse anything with just clicks on the screen. After a few weeks, I started to get bored with the touch-screen and got back to the old conventional mouse clicks and keyboards. I also realized my laptop battery runs out pretty quickly compared to the non touch-screen laptops. Now I wish I didn't buy it in the first place and go for a non touch-screen laptop instead. Have you ever experience the same or do you have plan to get a touch-screen? Which one do you like best, touch-screen or non tuch-screen? Let's share.

personally i think i would prefer a laptop that have both possibilities so you cna use as normal laptop but also have a multitouch interface and so you can use even as a tablet all in one!!Surely the capability about touch functions i never considered so important also because they are great for multimedia or some things but surely for business and more complex applications i think the physical keyboards is always useful too!!

I have both the non touch screen and touch screen. I love them both. The Non I use it on my office at home while the Touch screen I use while on mobile.
So they both are working fine on me.
I use tablet PC Fujitsu U1010 for the touch screen and Compaq V3000 for the Non touch screen.
The point is, buy the thing that suit your need not just because they look cool or expensive.

Greetings, mate! I personally choose conventional laptops/non touch screen laptops. I prefer this for a few reasons: sensitivity of the screen, cleaning the screen when you find dirt, finally I don't like touching the screen of my laptop especially seeing fingerprint marks on it. i am planning to stick to conventional laptops for pretty much the rest of the decade at least. Unless, we all will go with virtual keyboards :P
