I love to read books. I have bought quite a few for my home library. However, among the books I have in my library, i have only read one or two to completion. Why it is so hard for me to complete a book, I dont know. What about you? What is your experience?

I never have trouble to read a book till the end, especially if it's something interesting, my problem is more that I'm reading too much and too fast so I need an endless supply of books!
do you have trouble with every book or just some? cause it may be you haven't found your style yet? either that or you're like one of my friend, she never finishes books. She gets depressed if she reaches the last page so she always quits after 3/4!!
I personally find that amazing, I just can't not reach the end. even if it's true that it's frustrating to close a book after the story ends it would be far more frustrating for me to stop before they reach the end.
I read pretty much everything but my favourite genre is fantasy/adventure so I pity those poor characters, after everything they've been through they deserve an ending!

It depends on the book-sometimes I can finish a book in a day or two--while another will take me a week or two...lol. It just all depends on the book, and my mood.
The last book I finished was Cell by Stephen King, and now I'm reading Tick Tock by Dean Koontz. I'm a little over halfway done, and I'm enjoying it! Will finish it soon and I'll start another right after.

I don't find it hard to read a book to completion at all. I just finished one yesterday and I'm probably going to finish another one today. I've always been a crazy reader, and I have a goal to read 100 books this year. I've never had a problem reading a book all the way to the end, even if I don't like the book. If I'm having trouble reading it then I read fewer pages per day and read another book while I'm working on it.

It may sound pretty amazing but for me its just normal. Just like the harry potter books. I've finished all the books of harry potter long time ago. As long as you are really interested reading it.

last night,i returned my lastst finished book,i have read it for a month, thought there are only 200 pages,in my opinion when reading a book we cant be hurry,we must make ourselves understood what the author write,my goal isn't finishing the book but understanding the book
so dont be hurry, just read it when you want to read it

hmm... well, i was finishing books monthly.. I make it a point to do so because it doesn't seem complete when i get to finish nothing... I feel bad putting down a book even though it doesn't really interest me.. I feel bad for the author so i exert extra effort to read it to the end... LOL.. sometimes, i find that very weird of me.. haha...
anyways, i think the last book i read was horse whisperer, hmm... i didn't really like it very much.. ^_^

I have been an avid reader ever since I can remember. However, I have not read a book in about 2 weeks or so which is unusual for me. The last book I finished was "The secret life of Marilyn Monroe". I read it within a few days because it was very interesting. I usually finish books, but there have been a few that I just could not get into. The twilight series I read all 4 within a month. I did start a book called "A wedding in December" and it just has not grabbed my attention. I am going to try to pick it back up soon. Has anyone else read this book?
