Being honest is beneficial for everyone. If we are a honest person then people around us will always turn to be honest. This will benefit the whole nation and there wont be any issues in the world. So everyone should be honest to themselves before making others to be truthful.

i am always honest and straight up with everyone, and often i am too hard on people. but being honest pays off. i walked up to an atm mechine and the lady forgot to canceal herself out when she was done, i yelled for her and as i did it and then shown her.
things like this you would want other to do this for you, and others things with life i had people who was honest with me and hard on me and it did me more good.
sometime i need to learn a better way being honest. sometime not so hard

Honesty seems like the best policy a lot of the times but it is not really that simple. There are times where we have to be honest, but there are in fact times where honesty might not be the best thing. There are times where we have to sugar coat things for the good of the people involve. Maybe not lie, but omit several parts of the truth. Honesty is a good thing a lot of the time but there are just sometimes where it might not be good.
Of course, being dishonest is even worse. If there is a choice of being completely honest or completely dishonest, then being completely honest is something that I would prefer. Plus, keeping lies straight can be something that can be tough even for the most organized person and you will get caught eventually. Still when you think about it, life is all about finding a medium. Therefore it is not about being completely honest or being completely dishonest.

Of course, honesty is always the best policy. Truth/Honesty always hurts but it shall always be practiced and lived with, it shall be the foundation of every human being

it depends on the case :)
if someone had done something good and deserves congratulations - it's better to honestly show your approval
it's much harder to tell someone he is wrong, even if it is for his own good
even the most polite way of telling can offend him
in this cases it's better not to be so honest

hi! yes, for me it is, becauseif we are honest to the others we show them that they can trust us, and being honest means also that we are ready to talk about our mistakes and don't hide them which also show the people who know us, that they can fully trust us!
