I find it a shame that not many of the good tv shows are on tv anymore, in my country they have a lot of the old stuff on it as dallas, mash, hawaii 5.0 etc but not the good old time favorite ones like xena etc. I dont know how its like in other countries but i really miss those so i bought them on dvd so i can watch them as many times as i want :) what are other peoples favorite top 5 tv shows mine are: 1. Xena Warrior Princess (this one i really like its most awsome tv show ever) 2. Hercules Legendary Journeys 3. Mcgyver (i like the sexy richard dean anderson at that time) 4. Knight rider old one with david hasselhof 5. The Flying Doctors (my first tv show i watched when i was little kid) i watched a lot more like magnum, airwolf, ateam etc but those are my top 5 tv shows wich i really really like

It's hard to limit it just to 5. I liked James Garner so I liked Maverick and the Rockford Files. I also liked MacGyver and Stargate SG-1 (when RDA was on it). The Canadian show Trailer Park Boys was also good if you don't mind graphic language. Of old BBC shows, I liked Blackadder, Red Dwarf, and Mi-5. Of the current shows on TV, I like NCIS, House, Sons of Anarchy (on FX), It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FX), Torchwood (may or may not be back on BBC America), Lost, and Survivors (BBC America).

Yes, things have really changed here with the growth of cable. When I as young, living near New York, there were 3 TV networks, 4 counting Public broadcasting, plus 3 independent channels that showed movies or reruns. Now there are 4 major networks, 2 or 3 minor ones, public broadcasting, AND all the cable channels. The cable channels have also changed from just showing reruns to having some of their own new shows. That can mean a lot of TV shows, except for the informercials. I hate the way those have started to take up more and more TV time.

I have to think about that a little bit. I used to watch a lot of things. I think I was most regular during my high school days with Starsky and Hutch. That would have to be number one. I actually found season one at the mall. Now I just need to find the other seasons! I also liked Mork and Mindy.. that was too good! Also liked Happy DAys and Laverne and Shirely!
