Oh! I hate those spam messages, once I was convinced to give them my details. A lot of messages like that occupy my inbox so, I thought those were unimportant since nothing happened to the reply I sent to the first sender. I don't know what their purposes are, I also wonder how did they get my email address...

Hi maryantilok, Always ignore those e-mails and never give your personal information. I receive such e-mails and just delete them and always advice others to do the same. Blessings.

it certainly is a spam. i've had, a few years back, from an unknown man in africa through an email. he claimed to be the son of an army general whose father was brutally massacred. sounded like a film though but with very good, flawless, convincing english, one could be easily taken in for a ride. he needed help to get a few million u.s. dollars off his country by transferring them into my account on a 50:50 share. the only way to do this, he said, was to get all my bank details. i managed to have a few more communication with him before i finally cut the tie and reported the scam to the email provider. i knew all along it had been more a cheat. a few days later the email address couldn't get through any more. read of people who lost their money through scams like these and of people who went to meet-up and never came back. let us be more alert and remind our families and people around us of such scams. take care!!!

Yes, I've received this sort of emails as well as text messages about you've won a prize or these sort of things blablabla.... and then asked for your personal information including bank account number and password, etc. But I don't buy it. Of course, some people did. There have been so many reports on TV or newspapers about how people got screwed. Anyway, please keep your eyes open. Good luck!

If you give him all your details, you would be in danger.they maybe use your information to steal your money,or cheat on your relative that you are in danger or something. Your relative would believe in them, because they have all specific information about you.

You'll never really know though. Maybe the guy really does want to share the money with you.. just like in the movies but still.. you'll really never know though. Doesn't hurt to be cautious especially in our times :|

This is how people get hold of all of your details aswell as commiting fraud by using your name aswell as all the other details like your bank account and pass it all on to other people.Do not ever give people your details like that in an email on the phone etc.If it is genuine then they would know all your details anyway.

Beautyfactor is right. They can use those infos from you to open your bank account. I never give those kinds of information on the net. Even my email and password is too delicate to give away.

They ask all of these details so that they can open bank accounts, credit cards and other such things in your name. Basically they want to steal your identity with the lure of greed and money. Next time you get an email like this, don't even bother to open it just delete it from your inbox.
