So my wife and I shared a toothbrush for a while :). Is that gross - I mean... our kissing wasn't exactly boring during the time... ya know - french style! Honestly, I'd probably do it again if one of us forgot our toothbrush.
*(sheepish shrugging)*
What's your take on it? Who have you shared a toothbrush with!

Yeah I have shared a toothbrush wih my husband before. First it was by accident b/c we got new toothbrushes and didn't realize we both picked the same one as our own. I almosy gagged when I found out! But then I realized oh well it's not going to kill me.
After that I forgot my toothbrush at home when we were on a vacation but didn't realize it until it was too late to go out and buy another so I used his. I gagged for a sec but then sucked it up and used it. I would never share the toothbrush all the time though

Hahah!! I love it!! That's probably more what my wife's experience was! Well, at least in some degree... She's a little bit more of a germophobe - but if she did feel that it was that gross she's kept it well hid... I couldn't imagine sharing one with anybody else. Even infant drool still kinda grosses me out; no sharing even little cute spoons - or little cute toothbrushes for me.

Yeah no way do I ever share anything with anyone else than my husband. Too many germs out there and who knows what people do! I don't share drinks or food or anything! People call me a germophobe but I don't think that I am b/c I am fully aware of what the process of food is and how we get it in our grocery stores, etc. But I am just more aware to try to minimize even more unnecessary germs, such as someone elses. My husband doesn't share anything with anyone else either (this is where I got my whole thinking from) so I know all we're doing is passing germs back and forth to each other and I'm okay with that.
When I say no one but my husband I mean no one, mom dad, friends, sisters etc. When I was working co workers was just dig there hand in my bag of chips or candy or whatever I would flip out on them and tell them to take the whole bag b/c I didn't want it anymore and if they didn't I would through the whole bag away right in front of them to make them feel worse! They eventually got the point. Some people thought it was funny but never really did it. First of all that rude! You don't just dig in peoples food. Secondly who knows what's on their hands! All that bacteria! EW! Most people do not wash their hands after using the restroom alone so I don't want anyone's fecal on my food! Gross!
I love this question though! LOL!

I'm with you on the spousal germ-swap. I'm a bit more subtle when it comes to my food. If some people on my 'approved' list (ya know - who seem to be careful about hygiene) go for my food it isn't a problem. People who are clearly not on my approved list... I think I tend to just come across generous :)
Sounds like we're about the same on toothbrushes too!

Yeah I will not have a problem sharing my toothbrush to my partner, my sister and my best friend. At least I know that they don't have any virus neither a gum problem.

Lol! It's going to be those 3 people only that I will be more than willing to share my toothbrush with. I don;t really have a toothbrush-approved list, it's just I don't feel ashamed of letting them borrow my toothbrush if ever they will need one.

Wow, that's a bit more liberal but I think I could see where you're coming from... I wouldn't... for me... well, let's just say there's a wall there!
It's kinda weird for me to think that if I got to know you in person, there's a chance that I might one day get on your 'toothbrush-approved list.' --- Is there an application form somewhere?
j/k - thanks for honest opinion! I knew there was somebody more open than I am!
