Here is I who have worked for 2 years until July, 2010. But now I wonder whehter i have lost the enthusiasm about my work, and at the same time, I hope I could go back to university for my post-graduate degree. Sometimes, I think maybe I want to escape from the society because of two many reasons, especially I can't afford a house or even a flat. Is there anybody tell me what is wrong with me?

Hi, friend. You're not alone in confusion. Nearly everyone had once experienced this, especially within the five years after they graduated from university and started to work. During the initial period, we seem to be filled with endless energy, vatality and enthusiasm. Whatever we do, we like to devote ourselves into it. But as time passes by, that enthusiasm vanishes and what is left is confusion. At such times, we have a strong desire to go back to university to experience that life without any pressure on our shoulder. But at the same time, we are also clear that it is something definitely impossible.
The best way to overcome it----so at least it seems to me, is to find out your initial reason of being interested in that job. Reflect on it and tell yourself clearly why you chose that job and not anything else, and then pour that energy into your job once more. Don't focus too much on the payment. What you need to think of is you're truly interested in doing that. It won't be long before you find yourself once again filled with that enormous vatality and enthusiam.
Have a good day! Welcome tomorrow with a smile.

That really sounds good, but it is always easier to say than to do. I also hope I can overcome this confusion very soon and enjoy my life and work. Thank you!

You're right. Easier said than done. But still we have to do our utmost to cope with all the possible difficulties. I graduated as a postgraduate in the same year as you did, and now it's also my second year of regular full-time employment. Working as a college teacher may sound tedious to someone, but i'm still of passion and energy, just like the first day of teaching. For me, the trick is you should love your job wholeheartedly, not try to complain about the bad points such as payment or working hours, though such problems do bother people a lot. Hope you'll soon find ways to deal with all the negative thoughts on your work and can fully enjoy your work.

For real, I was a teacher before, I love my students, but I think I need to explore and enjoy my life fully when I am young, especially in my single days. I choose this job with more oppotunities and challenges. The payment and working hour both are fine with me, the only disappointed thing is I have too much spare times to make blind and disorderly conjectures. Anyway, thanks for your advise!

I think its normal to feel that way. I am also feeling tired and also confuse with my job now cause I want something better than what I have now. I just think that I deserve more than what I have here. But I cant leave the company now cause its too difficult to get a job. All I got to do now is try to love my job and same as you I am going to continue my major and get a master's degree. If I finish my masters degree then there are more chances for me to get a good job in the future.
