What type of movie do you think is most suitable to watch in cinema by a couple?

I prefer comedy for a couple to watch I do want to end up like I will have a teary eyes after watched a drama or maybe an action would me quiet excited about it and I can't control my emotions and I end up like hurting him ,lol, I also I don't want to watch a romantic movie as I might asked those moment to my partner then It would be trouble for him.My choice will a comedy then I will laughed with him throughout the day remembering what was the movie is all about! Hi mark, it really depends on your common interests or preferences. Sometimes, it's more on compromising or meeting halfway. In our case, we both love and enjoy sci-fi so whenever such flicks are out, we always agree on going together. We watched Transformers 1 & 2, GI Joe, and Avatar. Sometimes, he agrees on coming with me to Rom-Com movies. At least rom-coms aren't so cheesy. Horror movies are also a good way to cling onto each other on the scary parts!

I never watched with a special someone, but if you ask me of what ideal movie to watch I will choose comedy. I don't want love story.I feel awkward. I want to be with someone I can laugh with. And of course I want to be entertain by the movie.

I don't really think that there is one specific genre of movie that is the best kind of movie to watch with a significant other. The reason that I feel this way is because it really depends on the parties that are watching a movie as to what is appropriate. What I mean is that though I would say that my favorite movie to watch with my husband would be a romantic movie, I know that there are other couples that don't like to watch romances at all.

It depends on the mood. I love romantic movies, stay quite on sweet moments together. A comedy is also nice, it's fun to laugh together while eating popcorn. I agree with you, as a gentleman you should ask your girl first what she likes.

Of course, beautiful love romantic ones are the best. Then comedy type film is also good choice. Sometimes it depends on the type of the girls. Some girls may prefer Cartoon, then it will be very nice to 'love her dog'.

my husband and I watch movies across all genres. we normally pick the ones we think interesting. we usually take turns choosing what movie to watch. being the guy, of course he likes the action - thriller types, while I of course love my chick flicks.

i don't think there is a specific type of movie to watch when dating,i would say it depends what genre you both like,,i've never been to the cinema with my boyfriend because he does'nt like the films i do,so i go with my dad instead

Hmmm...not sure really. The last time I went on a date to a cinema, we went and watched Se7en (a very gruesome film) and both fell asleep! I would guess it depends on the person you are going with. Not all women like romantic films or comedies and prefer action films.

My fiance and I love to watch romantic comedies, action, epic adventure or sci-fi movies. And no matter how full we are already, he would still buy a bucket of popcorn to eat while watching the movie.

Hello markmoney! well of course, romantic movie will do the trick of giving the couple that romantic feeling while they are watching together. Girls are romantic and emotional by nature, i believe. So its best that there's someone who will sit besides us when we watched romantic movie. If there's no romantic movie in the cinema for the moment, then any type will do no choice) when you are in love with each other, the most important thing was to be with your love and nothing else, i think watching movies was just an excuse for couple, for you to have a private moment together, unless you really want to watched one particular movie. If I date with the person who I like ,I would choose a moive that full of romantic or humor in order that can have a happy atmospher.however,when I went to cinema or theater with my girlfriend ,we would choose the moive suggested by Internet or friends.

We always prefer watching thriller, sci-fi or horror movies on the cinema. Its the movie effects we are always up to. Anyway, we can download those cute romantic or any movies we also like to watch but we always make sure we can watch movies with some great effects on the cinema. Because, personally I can really really appreciate the movie on the cinema having great effects and its worth to watch.

I think this will depend upon the couple..what they like..what they are interested in... A usual choice is to watch the romantic movie but the whole idea of watching a movie together is to spend time together and later spend time taking about the time spend.. A movie which is like by both will have more chances of these thing to happen.

well for me, horror and suspense would be the best.. :) if the exciting scene comes out then you can hug her/him. HAHAHAHA. if you're a boy, you can scare her so she'll hug you very tight. lol.
