Frankly speaking,I am a shy person and an introvert. I find it difficult in expressing myself but I am really free with my family members and close friends. So,what kind of a person you are? Can you express yourself freely in front of others?Be free to post.

I am mostly free to express myself and sometimes do it too much! I tend to think cuz I'm older I know more :) but some don't think the way an old lady does:) I just try to feel out a situation and either go in full force or just keep out of it all together. It's safer with the latter :)

feel shame must there in every man. this just a matter of habit. If you are accustomed to expressing yourself in front of crowds, of course you'll get used too

I was afraid of speaking in front of a group until I was chosen to be Master of Ceremonies at my high school's talent show. I started terrified, gripping the microphone with both hands. Then I told a couple of jokes, and 1,000 people laughed. It was a wonderful feeling. I have never had stage fright since.

i once use to be a shy person, not being able to express myself in public. But that all has changed. when i got a job as a class teacher in a primary school i knew all that has to change, which made me to find a solution to my public nervousness and shyness. the process wasn't easy but worth while, since i was able to achieve my goal within a short period of dedicated practice of what i learned. i can now express myself clearly and those mind-blind that usually comes with public nervousness had all gone. i presently serve in my local church congregation. life is not a desert zone and it's not confine to family members alone, that is why there is need for public communication, not just communication but proper communication. And this may be verbal or non-verbal. But letting that person in front of you know you are truly free has to show from the way you communicate (body language inclusive). maintaining eye contact with the person you are talking to can also help you overcome shyness and instill a bit of confidence in your speech. also having genuine interest in others and seeing other people as a friend and not a boss or passer-by would also boost your social personality.

I've always considered myself an extrovert. I express myself pretty freely in front of others. I'm usually the quietest one in a class situation, though. Sometimes I have a hard time getting a word in edgewise when I'm around people who like to talk a lot, lol! I enjoy talking, too, but there are some who talk more than I do and tend to monopolize the conversation. I've always been friendly. Also, if anybody were to ask me to sing a solo, I would do it. I always wanted to be a professional singer and I enjoy singing and playing the guitar in front of people. I do this at one nursing home and one assisted living facility every month. Kathy.

i always try to speak my mind but there are times that we need to be cautious in what we say as we may hurt other people's feelings. so there certain boundaries that i do not cross but there's always a diplomatic way in voicing out your opinion without hurting other people's feelings.

After many encounters in life both good and bad, I love to speak my mind. People want to hear what you have to say, otherwise they don't ask for an opinion. It serves well however, if you can read the situation properly and respond accordingly. Personally I have found that I am most fluent and eloquent in speech when I am angry and the anger is indeed directed to the specific individual.
