Well i don't really like fish, the truth is, i am not a person who like sea food at all. Although there are fish that i can eat like Ikan Teri ( little fish maybe, i don't know the name in English ), Ikan Sarden ( Tuna Fish ). Also although i don't like sea food such as shrimp, i do eat udang rebon ( a little shrimp, i don't know its name in English ).

Well jakarta is a place where many people gather. People from all around indonesia are here. So it is not that hard to found traditional food for many are in all indonesia here. I think i found many of them here in jakarta, although i doubt the taste is as good as the one that are sold in the original area. Thanks, that's it from me.

well yes, it is betawi traditional food. It is a good food, and most of them is my favorite. But since you can meet them almost every where in jakarta, is doesn't feel that special. I mean, in every part of jakarta, you will easily found those food, especially Nasi Uduk and Gado Gado. But still, they are good food. But, soto betawi is different, i think it still consider as original since it quite rare if you campare it with gado gado and nasi uduk.

Talk About Gudeg, i remeber my college years. When i was in college, there is a Restrant that sold Gudeg. Me and my friend often came there. The Gudeg there is actually not really good. But the reasong that the place is crowded is because one of the waiters there is really beautiful. It good to see her once in a while after a hard day in college. At least that is the reason why my friend always ask me to eat there.

You may try Lawar Kuwir Kasiku at Bypass Ida Bagus Mantra Street, Banjarangkan, Klungkung. It is About 30 km from Denpasar to the east. Kuwir mean Duck. Most lawar made from pork. If you are may eat pig, you can easily find Lawar around Denpasar. But if you want eat Lawar made from other than Pork, just try Lawar Kuwir Kasiku. Ask your guide or your friend when you are in Bali. I am sure you they will show you tha best place to enjoy lawar.

I am from banyuwangi. the most eastern area of east java. In my place, i have traditional food called "Sego tempong". It is a cooked rice covered by chili sauce. So person who eat it will feel the sensation of being slaped, which is describe the tempong word. In the second position is rujak soto. it is as simple as vegetable salads combined with babat tripe soup then became rujak with soup. Just try to eat them if you visit my town.

I live in Palembang, Sumatera Selatan and the famous traditional food here is of course, pempek. I am not a native Palembangnese LOL. In fact I was born and grew up in Aceh. I moved here to follow my husband. I like pempek a lot, especially ones with egg fillings in it. For those of of you who doesn't know pempek, it's fishcakes than can be cooked by frying and steaming.

My favorite is "soto". Not like soto in other place like djogdja, soto in my place are very delicious. I don't like soto in djogdja, because it's gravy just contain of water
But soto in my place is differ, the gravy is very tasty. My friend from Tegal said it was like Kari Ayam...
I don't know much about food, but I know how to eat it
Beside the taste is so good, it is cheap too... Suitable for me :D
