Do you remember the first time your house got internet?

i remembered it. HAHA. it's on year 2005. LOL and i searched first for the FRIENDSTERsince it's the most popular site for teens that time. lol. but of course, it's already faced out. :D

I am not sure, but I think it was in 1999 or in 2000. At that time I was still living at home and I shared the computer with my father and my brother. My mother always complained that we were blocking the phoneline, because we all liked to use the internet for several hours. I had many arguments with my brother, we were supposed to take turn, but neither of us wanted to quit when we had to At that time I mostly used the chat sites. There was a Danish site that I used I a lot, and I enjoyed talking to a lot of different people.

We are the same, everything about what you said. I experienced having an internet at home when I was in 2nd year high school, about 2002. We used dial-up at that time and the internet was so so so slow. I remember that we used explorer and I searched for yahoo.com to make my first email address. Oh my..

we got our first internet installed in 1998..it was summer time so i spent all my time chatting.. It used to be a dial up connection and i remember the sound of modem being connected to the provider. I love listening to it and of course i couldnt forget the eudora mail and Icq . I love the sound of incoming mail from eudora and the parrot sound of Icq. It was memorable summer for me how i wish i could go back in time coz there were hardly any lag at that time and there were few scammers online.
