It will take just about as long as it takes to get the Guidelines, FAQs and Terms by heart. Some people even make it before then.

you really have to work very hard and can do it in a month or less. if you can afford to do it full time, you probably could do it in half of that time. i've recently reached the 500 mark. but it's not so much for the cut and paste but rather a sense of accomplishment.

You don't need to be in the top 500 in order to be allowed to copy and paste. . . You need to have at least 500 posts .. . Keep on answering to the discussions and you will reach there . . You can reach it in a matter of days. Just keep on posting. Good luck . .. Happy Mylotting.

How long it takes is entirely up to you. However once you reach 500 and you have the privilege of copy/paste you cannot just copy any words. You can copy and paste your own words not the words of others. You can copy and paste the link to words of others but if you copy and paste their words as though they were your own words without quoting the source you will lose your account here and you will have to start again, asuming that you will be allowed to open another one.
