we had our gender ultra sound yesterday after all the apprehensions and guessing from our family and friends what our baby will be. I lot of girl friends who have been pregnant before i am going to have a girl because of the shape of my tummy and others would say that the way i look didn't change so most likely it is going to be a girl. Other were telling us that we want t surprise everyone of the gender for i should have had my ultrasound on the 6 month and i am now on my 7th month. so yesterday we decided to finally go to the doctor for my long awaited gender ultra sound and the doctor said that we will be having a boy... happy... happy...prayers answered...

Aww, that's wonderful news.
So long as your baby is healthy then that's what matters most.
Are you going to tell all your family and friend or will you just let them keep guessing?

Hi there, thanks for the response. I don't have the heart to let them keep on guessing and guessing so if they ask we just tell them point blank that it is a boy... hehehehe and most of them are really happy about it.

Congratulations! I'm pregnant with my and my husband's first baby and we're having a baby boy also. I'm so excited. According to several old wive's tales we seemed to be having a girl, but I always felt like we were definitely having a boy and mommy's intuition was right. :)

I perfectly agree with you that mommy instinct is right.. i knew all along that it is going to be a baby boy no matter what they say. Congratulations too you and your hubby too!!!

Congratulations on finding out you will have a healthy little baby boy. I had a gender scan when I was pregnant in 2006. I was told my baby was a boy and it was true. My son is now almost three years old. During my third pregnancy I didn't have a gender scan. I had so many scans and from sixteen weeks pregnancy I was told I was having a baby girl. They were right. She is now nine months old. Two of my friends were told they were having girls but they both had boys.

Congrats on your baby boy! I have a 5 month old son and remember how happy I was when they told us the ultrasound said he was going to be a boy!
I hope he continues to grow healthy in you so you have a perfect little man to join this world soon.

Don't be confident with ultrasound, sometimes it fails to determine the true gender of a child. just be prepared for a name for a baby boy and girl.
