found 20 dollars in the back yard yesterday

Yes, once I did find a wad of banknotes lying on the road. I picked it up, held it in my hand, never counted it and gave it to the first beggar, who looked emaciated and hungry. I saw her eyes sparkle with gratitude. I never kept it for myself because it wasn't my hard-earned money.

wow! That's so cool, and since it was found on your property, it goes without saying that it's your money. I wonder who dropped it there? My husband found $20 in a groccery store once, just lying on the floor, and he took it to customer service, since someone probably lost it. Since it was found in a public place, I think he did the right thing.

hey thats great! i love finding money on the ground. my last big find was probably $5 and a twoonie (a two dollar coin here in canada) but not at the same time. i generally find pennies, dimes, nickels, that sort of thing.

This happened to me several times already, too. I usually find one in public places like school grounds, marketplaces, and stores. I remember one twenty peso bill I found which gave me a whole day of trouble until I finally used it to pay my fare. It was really a funny series of unfortunate events for me that day.

I've found money in many places that I didn't expect it to be but never that much on the ground. I've found money in books, hidden in an old camera of mine and the most strange a ten dollar bill from 1977 (the year I graduated) from my parents when I graduated high school. I just found that last year when filing through papers of mine at my mother's home in IA. It was still with the graduation card!!!

You and your daughter are lucky! Hahaha... I think, I had experience like that only for few rare time. Maybe less than 5 times in my life time :)

There was once a time when I was a kid, I don't have much money so I kept begging my mom to give me some more but she refused since she didn't want us to be spoiled. One day, I found a 100 peso bill which is almost equivalent to $2. The funny thing is, there were a lot of people around so I was a bit shy to take that bill. I was with my friends. Know what I did? i stepped on the peso bill and stood there until my friends started getting busy. then I took the money. Everytime I remember that time, it really makes me feel so embarassed and at the same time feel funny towards myself.

I actually found twice. It was outside the office, to be exact it was placed near the trashcan it was 500 pesos, I got nervous and checked the place to make sure nobody was there and hurriedly picked that bill. Second time, it was in my boarding house, I was sweeping outside my room when I found another 500 at the stairs, a lot of boarders come and go in that area who I dont know where to return it. As usual, when I found that bill, my heart beats so fast, I got tense, look everywhere and was into doubt, what if somebody was just testing my honesty but I dont I just picked up the bill and waited if ever someone will ask me about it. But thanks heaven, nobody ask for it. LOL.
