Being so alarmed and panic with this disaster that hits
beyond our knowlededge and control. What are the safety
measures you can share to everyone that must be put in
mind in times of this fear? I know not all of us will
panic but there are also being calm of what is the best
thing to do to get safety from falling objects and other
flying debris from higher tops. In my own I got easily
run if something shouted that could astonished me and I
see running I will do the same? By the way if we are inside
the office under the tall building, first thing to do
to make us safety? Pls. share your safety measures about
this vital calamity that we usually facing.

I have never been in a real disaster, not fire, not earthquake, tho I have waited out a few tornado warnings, even got put in the hall way with the entire office once.
Having said that, I probably know more about tornadoes than any other disaster, then you want to get into a small, interior room, or, even better, underground to be safe.
If you are in an earthquake, the safest place is in a doorway. Because doorways are re-enforced to be structurally sound, they are the safest place in an earthquake if you can't get out of the building, sometimes even safer than being outside.
With a hurricane (typhoon), the best thing is either to stay inside a building on high ground if its not a category 3 or higher. But if its higher than a 3, the best thing to do is leave if you are not in a building built to modern hurricane standards.
Just to kind of let you know, this part of Texas hasn't had an earthquake in centuries, (maybe thousands of centuries) but Texas does get hurricanes and tornadoes frequently.

well, considering where you are, probably volcanoes and volcano related earthquakes are your biggest problem with earthquakes
there have been some small quakes in north and south Texas, but I've never felt them
now, my mom lived in Sacramento CA for almost a year while my dad was working on his Master's paper and in that time she never felt a tremor, tho she'd come home to find the pictures crooked from small quakes...
So, her first (and ONLY) earth quake was that big earth quake in Kobe Japan http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Hanshin_earthquake
Mind you, she was down in a hotel near the airport in Tokyo or Kyoto but she felt it, and wouldn't have known what it was if her roommate hadn't been from California to tell her. (she had been on an Elderhostel to China and was on her way back home to the States.)

God bless that you did not experienced the earthquakes.
But I know you have lots of idea with these things and
I am glad that you have shared to me. Tornado is also
a very bad disaster , happy that they are not happening
in my place so far. I guess earthquakes usually occur
to the place where the path for the volcano crater and
many other causes also like oceans trembles. And if our
place is near to that that is why we usually face the
shake of it. If there is connection to the volcano and
we are part of it then we could suffer the consequence.

If you are in a big earthquake you are not going to be able to run anywhere, it will throw you right to the ground unless you find something to hang on to. I have been in one and I know you need to get under something to protect you from falling things, I got under the bed and hung on to the frame until the first shaking stopped. The house did not fall down so I was able to find my way to my children and get us all outside and away from falling things before the next quake hit. Then I got the shakes myself from fear. All your planning will not help unless you are very lucky.

So let's try to think to hide under the table or something
so that we will not be hit by falling objects. Yes that's true
if you are in the situation we are in panic of what would be
the best thing to do and cry so much hard. Other's also get shocked
and cannot move.

The thing to do is practise what you are going to do and put some thought into it. Picture it happening and see yourself doing just what you need to do. It's the surprise and nonpreparidness that causes panic and stupid mistakes which get you killed. Of course if the building falls on you there is often not much you can do but pray.

Hello geniustiger. As we have had the latest earthquake in the west part of China, which was 7.1 magnitude, I have learned something how to protect ourselves from earthquakes on the radio. There are three important things for us to do, the first of which is to run out of the building to a piece of flat and empty land without buildings. Do not try to get things from the house as the building will collapse in a few seconds or mintues. Try to make good use of the time available to run away from the house or the building. There are other two important points about how to make yourself safe from the earthquakes, but right now I have forgotten about them. I am so sorry for it, but if I hear it again on the radio, I will try to come back again for it. Take care.

Thanks for your thoughts shared from the information
you get from the media. You know my friend if you
run too much this can also lead us to escapade where
almost all people from the building and office are
trying to be the first to get it out and all of a
sudden pushing there, everwhere and sometimes cause
as accident to bump somewhere. I have encountered
this when I am in highschool. Other school mates
bumped to the wall and got ache at head. others also
fall down because of the shaky actions we have.
Your mind are too wavy too , not comfortable to do.
Heart is beathing fast and nervous comes up.
It is really shocking to feel this incident.
