Forgetting that IPL is not an independent body but is venture of BCCI and is governed by its rules and regulations. And it can never have a permanent chairman or commissioner, which Lalit Modi tends to forget while showing monopoly over IPL or acting as its Godfather. But with the current controversies involved with IPL time has come for Modi and seems his overgrowing wings will be soon cut down by BCCI. Also there is in news about controversial stake in IPL franchise of the relatives of Lalit Modi which goes to as high as 25% in Kings XI Punjab. With the investigation of Income Tax department lot more things are going to be revealed and its just the begging for Lalit Modi to come out of IPL dream to the ordinary being..

Yes I really believe that Lalit Modi is taking IPL to be his private property and now there is lots of news and rumors. The IT department is already grilling Modi about the IPL funds so lets see what comes out of it. All this controversy is more interesting that the IPL match itself.

Lot will come out if an honest investigation goes through which is also doubt full with that much of money involved there may be bribes there as well. Modi will sure have his wings cut if investigation goes corruption free. All would have been kept going the way it was.. thanks to his controversy with Shashi Tharur that so much of misleadings are gonna be revealed to public.

I dont think Lalit Modi is thinking to change as Private property actual he has starting thinking as his private property and his relative are in franchise equities and in many areas. Let us see how this IPL ends
