It must be a sign of the times. Someone is selling there car for the same price as a cup of coffee at Starfu(ks! Would you bid on this car? It has a BLOWN HEAD GASKET. Even if you won the bid on the car, how much will it be to tow it to your neighborhood???

It's called auctions =D
You start mega low, give some short time to people bid, try to make it get attention and booom, starts low, ends pretty high for the state of it.
Welcome to buy/sell world.

Ok Ok, all sarcasm aside, I've got a fair share of "sales" experience. What I was surprised about was that it has a blown head gasket.

Still is a serious problem to fix[over 1000 dollars and more and not all people want to pay that to fix a car] and is also a good thing to try to sell it as a "false" good car to people that have few knowledge about cars. Some people just see the part of "IS CHEAP BUY NOW" and ignore the details and then boom, headshot when they see the price of the fix.

Hi coffeegurl. Well I put this one on my watchlist just for the fun of it. There is still just over two days to go on this auction and most serious bids do not come in until the closing moments. I am sure the car will make a decent price and I think the seller knows what they are doing. It is my guess that the seller just wants to get this car off their hands as quick as possible.

yeah, my thought are right in line with yours. What do you think? Is it better to sell a car online than the old school method of using show polish and your phone number?

I guess selling online gets you a wider exposure to potential customers but any car I have bought has been privately or though a dealer.
I do love browsing some of the vintage cars online and have had my eye on a few but they have always been out of my price range

Well, often if you look for parts you will pay a standard price for a part you need. IT costs 70 to tow a car, and if you own a trailer to pick up the car then that is absorbed overhead. That is opportunity for making money out of selling the car for parts.

You do have to pay $199 for processing fee and somehow get it fixed before you transport it, since you can't drive a car without a head gasket. But this is the real deal. No Reserve means No Reserve. The winner pays the final price. Any tacked on fees have to be included in the listing.
