I like to ensure that there is nothing to wash up when i get up in the morning. My dishwasher broke down and they could not mend it for a few days so i had to wash up.With having a large family it was a never ending job.I like to ensure there are no dirty cups or anything else laying around when i get up, so just before i went to bed i washed up, are you the same.

Hi, jugsjugs. I am the same to a certain point too. I like to wash up any dishes that are in the sink before the next day. When I clean the dishes up, I usually will clean them around 8 or 9 at night. That way, it won't be any dishes in the sink from that previous day. It really helps out a lot when I the dishes are washed so that I won't have to clean in the mornings. It saves a lot of time.

My boyfriend do the same, he often leave his dishes stack up even for a week. I hate it, its just so dirty to look at especially when I started seeing insects, its so disgusting. I always get mad at him, even if I don't want to nag him but i just cant help, but his answer would always like" you're like my mom, shut up." Its always the same answer. so that's it I end up doing his dishes.:(

oxio10 if my husband had ever said something like that to me
he would soon not be my husband, or if a boyfriend told me to shut up when I was doing him a favor I did not have to do, I would slap him
silly and walk out, nobody tells me to shut up but once, bam I do
not like that term, and I never tell anyone to shut up either, rude
'oh so rude.

It is wiser to do that before going to sleep. It feels more efficient to do that; you are tying up all your day's work. My family always had the dishes and used cooking utensils up before going to bed. At times though when I sleep late and need to have a snack and a few drinks, I would be getting new things out. But most of the time I wash them before going to sleep; there are times the a glass will be found in the washing bin.

this is really good to keep away bugs and everything. we have to make sure everything is in good condition, clean, etc. before we go to bed. we have no dishwasher so we have to do the washing manually. the kids have to do all of them but with the supervision of my wife.

Absolutely yes... before go to bed I wash all my small clothes like inner wears etc..
But, my shirts, t-shirts, jeans, pants I wash once in 3 days... because, washing everyday will waste more water..

As far as I am concerned, I think I agree with you so much. For me, I usually try my best to have myself washed just before the sleep, which I think will do a lot foo to our body health. If there is one day that I do not have my self washed, I will feel it is so terrible to sleep, just want to get up to get myself washed. I can not bear the felling that I have not washed myself. I think clean and tidy is the part of my daily life. I can not be short of it.

Always go to bed with a clean and tidy kitchen, but cannot say the same when I was younger. Nowadays, we always clean up before bes, no matter how many guests, or what time we finish entertaining.

my mother is the one who wash our dishes. We don't have dishwasher so she wash it by hand. That is my favorite household chores before not until I began working. Sometimes my mother left the dishes wheneber she is tired to wash it. the only bothering me are insect that will crawl on the plate when you let it there on the sinck overnight. That is why itis adviceable to wash all the dishes before going to sleep.

We wash the dishes manually in turns. We don't have a dishwasher machine here and I think it would never be a hit in my side of the world because we are used to do the dishes manually.
At first I thought you were talking about washing up your body before going to sleep

I live alone so I don't have too many dishes, but the ones I do have I try and wash before I go to bed. I hate having things to do the next day. I get my clothes out ahead of time, and do whatever I can so that I won't have as much to do the next day. Another reason I like to do the dishes every night, is so they don't attract ants and other pests, especially in the summer.

We do the paper plate thing, lol when the dishwasher goes out. Odd schedule make it difficult to keep up with daily events, so we try to make it easier on us. We like a clean wake too.

I have a maid for this work....she cleans dishes and brooms the house and mops it...so i don't have to worry about it...i too have big family and for me also its the work i dislike mos to do.....and when she is on holiday and has not told me about it earlier....then its very problematic for me...as she comes 10am and if i wait till that time and she doesn't come then its too late for me to complete all the work in time and also have my bath etc....and make food ready in time for everyone...so if i know already that she will be on leave tomo...then i do it at night...or else have to face the punishment

That is a nice feeling to get up in the morning and have your kitchen all clean and you don't have to do anything, but alot of times mine isn't..lol. I hate washing dishes, I think thats the most hated chore that I have. Don't get me wrong, my kitchen is clean most of the time, I think if my kitchen and bathroom are clean, then my house is clean and I feel good about it. I just don't like doing the dishes, I end up doing them when I get tired of looking at them..haha.

I don’t have a dishwasher. I usually joke and say that my husband is my dish washer! I don’t like waking up to dirty dishes because I have too much to do in the morning to worry about doing dishes and I really hate the idea of coming home at the end of the day to a dirty kitchen especially when it’s dinner time!
