Where would your summer getaway be?

It is a very good time to make some summer fun and vacation with friend or family. But where would you like to spend the summer vacation? Would that be at the beach or a more exotic one? Well for me I would also like to discover more places and much more different than the usual one so that it would be the best summer. I personally like to spend time here in our province so that it won't be so costly too.

beach is a must-visit during summer :) my college friends and i have already had our beach escapade at bataan. it was a good experience but it would have been a lot better if it was farther. i want to experience a long roadtrip with stopovers in various provinces with my friends. as for family getaway, we usually spend it at my parents' hometown, batangas. resorts are everywhere there so it is not much of a thrill. i've been to pagudpod, boracay and puerto galera beaches before. boracay and puerto galera are the places to be if you want to party all night along the beach side. i just hate crowded places so i don't prefer these beaches. i have also been to sagada and it is one of the best places i have ever been. the cave is breathtaking, i highly recommend that you guys see for yourself. my high school friends are planning on another outing, i'm not really sure where but due to budget constraints, i think we would just have it a drive away manila. i would love to go trekking when i have the chance. do you know of a place where we could do that?

I work 6days a week.

That must be quite tiring already. Maybe it is really your priority. If you are living with your family then having no summer vacation this year is acceptable. But having a summer vacation would be a very good break to have time with family, friends and most of all God. I am also quite disappointed that I can't have a vacation this April because of the school stuffs and maybe the month of May would be better.

I am hoping that this summer that I can go to Canada. I've never been there but I've read a lot of literature about them and would really like to go there and see what it is like. My aunt would be traveling to Canada and hopefully I would be able to accompany her but money is a bit of an issue right now. But maybe everything would work out in the end. Have a nice summer.

I wish it would be a one-week stay at Boracay island. But since my finances can't allow me at present, I think the family will just go to Batangas or Cavite for an overnight stay in one of the beaches there. I live in Laguna and there are so many hot-spring resorts here but I prefer beaches since my children love to go boating as well.

I like to go to the beach during vacation. It's a great place to unwind and relax. Me and my college friends have a plan to go to an island next weekend (somewhere in pangasinan). I also like to go to my province for a vacation but it is expensive and I don't have that much time, as I'm working 6 days a week. By the way my province is Cebu and I'm living in Cavite.
