He doesn't watch cartoons, but Baby Einstein is running whole day. I've read that the last researches show that baby movies are not good for babies. I hope that's not true. My son is learning a lot from this movies - several dances and words, I guess there will be more things in future.

The only problem is that they are in English and our language is not English. But I hope that will make it easier for him to study English one day.

My family and I dont allow our nephews to watch cartoons that has something to do with lots and lots of fighting and cartoons that easily burst into anger like San Goku. I dont know if you know those cartoons. We also dont allow them to watch Mr.Bean cause we think that watching Mr. Bean will make them stupid.

What ever you do caydensmom, don't let your child watch Calliou!! All that kid does is teach the young how to be a whiny child and it will drive you crazy!
My son is not into cartoons anymore, he actually watches ICarly and those other shows that older kids will watch.
Our satelite channels got changed so his Bakugan is no longer on. He really enjoys that one and it's not too bad.
have a great night

I find Tom and Jerry very violent. Even I as an adult has great distaste for that cartoon. My friend's kids, 2 and 3 yrs old watched Tom and Jerry and the younger kid hit his brother with his toy simply because they imitated what they saw from the cartoon.
