I have absolutely no problem with religion, unless it is forced on me. The main thing that bothers me about most religions is their assumption that if I am not a devout follower of their beliefs, I will be damned to burn in hell, no matter what I do. I could be the most angelic, benevolent person on the entire planet, but I still go to hell because I don't accept a certain religion. The fact remains that religion was invented as a control mechanism. Read up on your history. History has taught us that the most effective way to control a populace is through fear. What could make people more fearful than the idea that if you do not do as a certain religion says, you will be on fire for the rest of eternity? Furthermore, most religions are riddled with hypocrisy. For example, the Catholic church is by far the most violent non-governmental organization in the history of humanity. See the Crusades for more on that subject.

I don't actually practice any religion because there is nothing that I am certain about in this life with regards to God and various other things. However, I do respect someone elses right to believe in whatever they want to. I have a few friends who don't practice a specific religion either and I quite like that as I don't have someone preaching to me all the time about something that I don't believe in.

I will never change my religion! Simply this is what I grow up. I learn how to believe in my self and have faith that their is GOD. WHo always here to guide us. Their is some beliefs and ritual in other religion that differ from other. May be we need to considered them or let respect them on what they believe of. Happy Lotting.

No. Why would I do that. God isn't a pair of clothes that you change when a new fad comes in. Oh Allah is so last week. Everyone is following Buddah now. Wtf.

the problem is not on money but trust, if we shaky grasp of what we hold our faith is not strong. I do not want to change my religion, because this is a guideline in our lives. I only choose one, and each decision is in the hands of each person. As long as we hold strong against the religion which we profess, of course people will not change religion.

Hi siliguri! I am a Christian and I do want to share with you my point of view regarding religion. On my end, I don't think that changing from one religion to another would certainly matter. In my own experiences, I can say that religion cannot help us in our struggles in the continuing journey in life. But it is our personal relationship with our Creator and our God does matters. There's no religion that could save us from eternal damnation but it is what we have within our hearts, our motives, our desires and our conviction. It is the heart of man that God always seeks. Personally, I am not against to any religion for all of us are equal and so no one should boast. No one is above anyone so we should have to respect each other's belief and no one has the right to step in anyone's foot. Cheers and happy mylotting!

I don't want to change religion. I only want to study the word of God. Only I want to improve our prayer and the way we worship God. I think our relationship with God is the matter. How close as we to God?

No need to change the religion. As long as we pray and believe in God, that is enough (in my opinion).

I consider myself religiously Agnostic. This is a nice term for not having a religion, while still believing in the possibility of a God. I have studied religion extensively, and so far I have not been able to find a single one that makes a bit of sense to me. First of all, there is no way that we, as the creation of God, could ever begin to understand what God is. How can we refer to God as a He, if God created gender? How can Hell exist if God is supposedly benevolent? How can Fate and Hell exist simultaneously? If they do, what is the point of even living if your every action, which could easily condemn you to an eternity of suffering, has been preordained and planned?
