Are you afraid of snakes???

When it comes to snakes, the first scene came up into my mind is depicted in the ancient scriptures---the fall of mankind. it's strange, but i know that the snake is a very special animals in the history, or why was it chosen to mislead human. i don't like it but still respect it.

I didn't open the link you gave to us. Why? I don't really like snakes. I am scared of them since they are very dangerous. One bite and it's all over for you. ALso, if the snake crwals all over you, it can make you unable to breathe. Scary...

Of course, you don't know if it's actually venomous or not. So if you stay away from all of them then you don't need to worry if it would bite you or not. However, in our country, most snakes are not venomous. But it's better to be safe than sorry

I do not think I am afraid of snakes as much as I am a bit uneasy around some of them. Of course I would most certainly not go out of my way to encounter one but it is not like I am going to panic around them. Still there is some uneasiness about a creature that slithers around and waits to strike, circling their prey, knowing that it can attack at any time. In many ways, that is the stuff that nightmares are made of. The poisonous snakes are the ones that are a cause for concern. For obvious reasons, as they can have some nasty side affects, including the obvious fatal one if it is not treated immediately. So unless you are an expert, it would be hard to see if a snake is poisonous or not from first glance. That uncertainty could add to a potential fear, of course. So yeah, not really a paralyzing fear of snakes in general, but I think if I do have a fear, it is being bit by a poisonous snake. That can be be a terrifying thought and that could be one that contributes to a lot of phobias. Of course, snakes can be an interesting study. Just not sure I want to be up close and personal with one any time soon. Of course, it has been years since I have seen any snakes even slithering in the grass. Still, just because I haven't seen any, does not mean they are not there.

I'm not afraid of snakes because I grew up in an area full of rattlesnakes, and I know that they are generally more afraid of us than we are of them, and they only tend to attack when directly provoked. They are actually pretty docile creatures, with a few obvious exceptions, and make great pets.

im so afraid when it comes to snake i hate them. i can do what ever on my self but not play with them. i dont know why i hate them but the thing that knew i dont want to dare and get close to any kind of a snake..

it is safe to say that i know for sure that i have a fear of snakes. do not like them at all! yuk! i did touch one once and i screamed. we were in florida and my son was about 5 at the time and he was brave enough to touch it so he begged me to do it and i did but it was just so gross. i know i will never do that again! they just gross me out.

I am afraid of snakes, they accidentally fell in my neck. I thought it was a tree branch, then I tossed to the floor, even a venomous snake and wanted to bite me. I hurriedly took the nearest wood, and hit their heads so that they are powerless.

Snakes are not interested with biting humans but I'm not that sure. Most seem to bite only when the human shows aggression. I guess if I appear a second-rate bland creature to the snake it will just ignore me. I once saw a snake at my feet during the 90s and I wonder why it didn't bite me. It had beautiful scales even impressive but I just ran away from my shock.

I am not afraid of snakes. I used to carry them in the zoo. They are kinda heavy though. I killed a snake before. Shot it with my 45, it got in my nipa hut.

I am not afraid of snakes...I kinda find them fascinating and I respect them. in my country we have not many snakes in wildlife anymore I had contact at school in grade 2....a huge thing of snake I will never forgett it was cool whenever I went to the woods with my granny I tried to catch something looking like a snake(sorry do not know the english name for it) but it wasn´t a snake at all it was just a lizzard without feet....but biological not called a snkae I liked to play with them and scaring my granies friends
