What did they say?

Some singers are very talented with the way they match words to music, and have very nice ways of saying things. They say the things you wish you had said. But sometimes they say stuff that just doesn't make sense, or that you can't understand. Example Beyonce "To the Left" One part of the song the lyrics are "you must not know bout me" but when she sings it sounds like she's saying "you must stand over me." Can you think of any other songs that you just have to make something up, because you can't understand what they are saying.

I feel what you mean, there are some songs that i just dont understand as well, its as if they are singing something else instead. Maybe because its too loud or the singer is singing it in a way that almost everybody dont understand it lol .But nevertheless i still enjoy listening to those kinds of music too

I agree with you both. The music itself has a nice beat, and the way the sing the words is catchy, but if you actually pay attention to the things they say, its just nonsense.

Yeah most of the times its nonsense but there are people whom appreciate those kinds of stuff. For example a rock band talking bout nothing at all but when you ask those fans of those group they might tell you that they have a certain thought or meaning out of that song. Its our own interpretation bout lots of stuff going on

yeah maybe sometimes you cant understand it... and sometimes i do too...thats why people has different interpretation:)
but lyrics is not the most important thing right..sometimes i feel like i can understand the song witout lyrics on it..or even if it is a foreign:)

I think the lyrics are very important. I've seen alot of people dancing along to songs, when they don't even know what the song is about. Girls that are very respectful of themselves, dancing to splutty music, but they have no idea. When you tell them the lyrics they look shocked, but they just say I just like how it sounds. Its funny cause you're dancing to it cause you like the way it sounds, but a guy is going to see you dancing to it, and think "oh yeah she's easy." I think you should really pay attention to lyrics.

There are also some songs that I find difficult to understand since english isn't my 1st language..

well yeah i know how that is. And it probably doesn't help that americans have so many different accents. I have that problem with tagalog (philippines) (p.s. its the next world language, learn it fast)
when people are talking to me, sometimes I don't understand what they are saying, because I'm not a native phil talker, and they use different accents, so it makes it hard to figure it out.
