Yes finally I came to conclusion that readbud is a scam site, the reason is as I m nearing the payment mark i m getting very less ads.First I used to get some 20 ads and can earn $1 atleast per day but in the last 7 days i earned only $2.Not getting any ads, really strange .Anyone experienced the same in the site.
I think the site owner is getting plenty of page visits and surely run aways quickly after some days.

it can happen having few articles in a day o the readbud site..so in reality i see this site as a scam risk because in reality it sounds really strange as system and even they pay you so much to do really simple hings such as reading articles..and the pire in this situation is that articles are not from external blog for example or other sources but is hosted inside the site on site's pages so..mmh...i have more than one doubts surely if and when you request and if you get paid from this site write on mylot in this way if it is a scam not many others members can waste their time on this strange system!!

They are having serious bandwidth problems at the moment due to a huge increase in users. Updating can mean a number of things but, if they are having to increase bandwidth, may mean that they are having to change their hosting service which could take some days. I think that patience and hope are virtues in this case.

many sites are doing this business these days...coming with a bang and then...soon get vanished....same i am hearing of gagabux.....one discussion i saw says that his account was suspended surprisingly..when he was waiting for payment from 11 days....and nearing another one.....don't know why there are no actions against such fooling sites and no institution is developed yet...though net is so widely used by people around the world....i wish that some strong body develops and take serious actions against such fraud sites...tc

Don't forget that many of the cries of 'scam' that you hear are from people who have not bothered to read the Terms of a site. They, naturally, don't admit that when they post their statements! I am not, of course, saying that all people who say that a site is a scam are basically liars but that you do have to take some of what is said with a large pinch of salt!

Well as of now I am getting more than 25 articles per day, its really depends on how fast you refresh the site for you to have another article or maybe they have this system to limit the article. Because its not always I am getting 25 articles per day. Sometimes I am only getting less 20 maybe around 15. Just dont be rush. Take care

Let's all cross out fingers that it will not turn out to be a scam.

It has only been going since the middle of February so I imagine that not many people have reached payout yet. There is a list of the 'Top Ten Users' on the home page, all of whom, it is claimed, have read and rated around 7000 articles. That represents about $350 each (at an average of $0.05 an article) but, according to Alexa, the site has only really taken off since the beginning of April, so most people will not have reached payout.

I signed up for this site but never got a confirmation email from the. I tried a couple of times to have them resend my confirmation email but they did not so I have given up on this site and I am going to continue to do mylot. I have found that most sites are scams.

I am quite new to this site. But as it's in its early stage, let's give it some time. I'll call it a scam only when it doesn't pay. If they are trying to save money by offering less (offering nonetheless), then why is it a scam? They never promise "We'll give you all we can" and if they promise so, why, it's a scam!

Well I registered with them yesterday. I am using it as a test for my blog so i am going to try and reach cashout before I form any conclusions. There could be all sorts of reasons. Have you tried changing your article preferences at all?

'Scam' is a nasty word that I see bandied about far too readily. I think that you are jumping to conclusions and have no basis for your accusations. When they don't pay is the right time to begin talking about whether or not they are a 'scam'.
There are a number of things which might affect the number of articles you are getting. First, it depends a great deal on the Interests you have selected as to how many articles are available. I find that 75% of my articles come from only 12 interests and some have given me no articles at all in 18 days. My average seems to be around 20 a day but on one day, at least, I only got 2.
Second, they have software in place which judges whether or not you are likely to be reading the articles. If your reading rate seems erratic or you are spending far too little time between being presented the article and rating it, one method they might use to counteract fraudulent use of the site would be to limit the number of articles you receive. I know (because I have a spreadsheet that calculates it) that I spend an average of a minute and three quarters reading each article and my consistency rate is good (except for the first day, when I was taking far too little time). Do you know how long you take to read the articles you receive? Readbud certainly do and the information is all there in your Article History!

Personally I think that this is a scam. The articles are very stupid, and it is too easy to earn. Too good to be true.

Can't we just wait and see if someone actually get paid. I think it is too early to jump into conclusion like that. The site is new and we need to be patient. When you reach the minimum cash out like everyone here, then try cashing it out. Then we'll see!

I don't really know if readbud is a scam site but I stopped participating on it since I have feeling that it is a scam. It's just too good to be true... Just by rating??? Hmmm... I'll just participate on it again if someone will show a proof of payment.
