Why girls doesn't cut their finger nails...?

i agree with you SILIGURI you are right, ling nail makes them weird. i dont like girl having ling nail. they looks like evil who want to kill me.

I am a woman and I disagree with you I think long fingernails are lovely especially if they are the womans REAL nails and not some fake glue on things its not easy growing your nails and keeping them looking nice

Hey siliguri! I used to have really long nails since I was in high school! But, mine were naturally long! I used to file and polish them myself for many years! I never went to get them done professionally so I kept them at a managible length! I am now older and something has happened to them and they keep breaking and so is my heart! I miss having my long beautiful nails! I wish I could get them to grow again, but for some reason they just won't! I have thought about getting the "fake" ones, but for some reason (along with the cost) I haven't! I have always done my own nails and still do! I still polish them even though they keep breaking and spliting and are nothing but stubbs!

I cut my nails on a regular basis, but not for the reason you've given here. Try putting in contact lenses when you have long nails--it's not pretty, and it can be painful. The other reason is, I can't have long nails because they interfere with my typing, and I'd rather speed up my typing than having it slowed down because of some stupid nail that gets in my way.

I like girls having nails.Not very big but somewhat long..it looks cute to their hands...I don't know much about this..since I'm a boy..but I like girls having long nails...I really surprised that you didn't like because most of the boys like..

On a girl's perspective, it can make them more beautiful, what makes it weird having a long nails when its unclean, that's definitely gross!

Hi, am a woman, and I usually 3.4 mm nails, no longer, i have French manicure , so natural nails, only varnished a bit, nothing more, women wear long nails something to make it look the fingers are longer, in my opinion, as long as they are very neat, and a woman has a beautiful hand, why not? Nothing is weird in that, even Cleopatra had nails longer, just because it was a sign of class, of course, be reasonable in length, and very neat... I will tell you from my experience, that 90% from man like woman with nice and clean (just a bit longer) nails, i am sure!

I do like a bit longer nails (not too long though) and I like it painted, too. The thing is I am not doing it because I think its not a very good way to keep the Hygiene up, especially when you have a small child. But when the hygiene thing would be ok, I definitely would do it.

i am a girl and i'm not fond of making my nails grow longer. hahaha. once i see something like they are starting to grow, i'll immediately cut them out. hahaha! my nails become dirty so easily that's why i need to do it. well, i sometimes put polish on my short nails to make it more appealing since they are not long anymore! haha

It depends of our tastes, mens and womens could like long or short nail. But for me, i prefer long nail but not too long, i think that 0.5mn is okay for me but long nails with 1 cm is too long and looklike the nails of witchs we've seen at tv xD. Short nails for me give me a weird hand like baby hands. Even my ancient professor says that he likes womens with long nails. ^^'

I am a woman and I have to disagree with you too in part. While I like long, well looked after nails I have to say that there is such a thing as too long to me. I have grown my nails very long that it became very impractical; I couldn't type very well with them and they were always getting in the way when I was preparing food. Good nails are a great thing to have. Lots of people notice your hands and nails and a set of well manicured tips says a lot about a person I think.

Some girls would like to make it long because they would like to put nail polish on it so that it would look like more prettier. However in my case, I no longer put nail polish because I have lots of works at home and it will ruined immediately. So I also need to cut it, if its getting long already.

I cannot really grow long nails because I was not used to having them while doing my regular tasks at home or at the office. Long nails slow me down from typing and I have a little girl who will do everything she sees from me. I wouldn't want her to scratch herself because of long nails too. But I think they do look good on women who can groom them well. Sometimes it makes them look more sexy and sometimes it makes them look more expensive too (know what I mean?). Keeping long nails neat is also a responsibility for women so I don't have any negative comment for them as long as they keep them well-groomed. :)

I agree with your statement and in fact I think it is quite uncomfortable to do whatever with these long nails.Most of them do it because they think men love such thinks as it looks in a kind nasty but in fact you can't even touch your boyfriend as you are going to scratch him.

hi sili, I don't like long nails as well. I want my nails very short and clean. I rarely put nail polish or paint on my nails. It is hard to maintain long nails. The simple, the better. LOL. Like everyone would put it. Less is more beautiful.

Their is a reason behind this... the finger nails made any girls attractive.. and also long bails are seems to be lovely so girls don't cut their finger nails.. and i also like girls long nails..

because they need their nails to do something that boy can't do... hehehe... ^_^

having long nail is a passion. you can put any colors or any decoration to creat an art., but for me prefer to cut it to make clean and net., you can see a beuaty to its own simplicity, as to my own opinion only.. if they want a long nail its their choice, anyway their the one who carry it..

I always file my nail short to make it look neat and clean but there were also times that i keep it a little bit longer just so i can try it but i still prefer to keep it short.
