This is cool did this happen to you ?

I love these stories! Im not that old, as to I dont have friends for 20 years or so. But I have had siiliar stories happen to me and have heard hundreds of them from my friends (oky, well not a hundred!) Thats really great that you two were able to find each other and reconnect on facebook! Hav eyou guys had the chanc to get togther off of facebook and become stronger and greater friends agiain? I have had the chance to reconnect to old friends and friends from my childhood that I havent seen since moved a number of years ago. Its great to keep in touch in this way for the most part but in reality we arnt really friends. More aquatenceses or penpals of sorts. And while I truly enjoy and wouldnt be able to live without these relationships, they arnt all that solid outside facebook or off the computer.

nop, but the best thing that social network offers is that you have a chance to see again the people you know but lost connection for a long time, i'm so happy to have contacts again with my elementary classmate because of facebook, im so happy

that's cool. :) on my facebook account, i also found some of my grade school and high school classmates. and through that social networking site too, they were able to set a reunion. :)

hello syankee, wow! thats really nice! Oh yes. I saw my best friend in college with the help of facebook. I was ecstatic to learn that shes been searching my name for the last seven years and I was on the same boat, praying that one day I could meet her again. It was just totally weird when she left the city without leaving her contacts to us (her friends)... but what's more important than having your friend again? right.. so now is the time to catch up and continue our friendship... and I will never gonna let time seperate us again. Ya, I found some of my school friends whom I didn't contact since the School got over.Now they are in touch with me and I enjoy that..But there are near to my house so I just chat with them online..In facebook I didn't find any old friends..I found in other social sites..may be I will find in future..hope so .

Well 30 years ago when we got married a friend of my wife left for the states after our wedding, It was only last year that Marlene message us in the Facebook an got connected. From there on Marlene and my wife chat almost twice a day.

yes friend, facebook is really one cool site. i also got reconnected with friends, classmates, and even relatives who are now living in the foreign lands. for just a year now, i came to find my best friends who are now in the arab countries, relatives who are now working in aussies, friends from homeland who are now living in the north america and other countries. by the way, i am also away from my homeland, so i am kinda missing even my relatives and family. so with facebook, i came to get in-touched with them too. i have my sisters, uncles, cousins, and other family members and relatives in my friends list.

I have found a freind that i was really good friends with in Elementary School. I was very excited to find her and become friends again. I have found out many things that were going on in her life and got to see pictures and how her life has changed. She doesn't even live in Florida anymore and she has a life on her own know she we are grown adults now. I also use facebook to keep in touch with my friends i used to be friends with. It is a great place to look for old friends and be able to talk to them and see what is going on in their lives now. I have found more than just one friend from elementary and i am glad to see what there lives are like now.

hello syankee525, its really nice that you found your old freinds on facebook. well i hav found mines too. but i was not really happy to find them because those were not really close freinds and they reminded me of my dark past which i want to forget forever.

such a great story! lesson is: try to explore what's around you,go jogging to places near you so you'll recognize people who lived along your area.well,i don't usually go out of our house so i don't have friends nearby.but i have friends from other places near our village. i also experienced such thing as lost contact with friends from college,from former co-workers.and accidentally we met at facebook.it's a good thing internet has to bring people get along together even they don't see personally.at least you still find contact to that person you've once lost.specially when you really missed that person so much.you reconnected to them again.happy times come to life again!

No. But I must say not yet.=) But the coolest thing that happened to me using social networking sites is I found my puppy love when we were in elementary. Now, she is in California and we are updated with each other so not bad at all. I am still hoping to get her back.
