I have seen many people over here that advertise some of their programs that they are into. That's fair enough! I always check the profiles of people that I am talking to. Unfortunately, at least 50% of myLot members have scam sites at their profiles. Not only that! Some of them, are making discussions speaking about phony proofs in order to get more referrals. Now, I am an IT guy. It's my job to know how to evaluate sites. And when people actually insist that the site is not a scam (whilst it clearly is) I do not respect them any more. People think that the big fish eats the small fish. But in my opinion, if a bunch of small honest fish gathers, they can kick that big fish's a$$! So that's what we are? We forget about honesty in the sight of referrals aka money?

When I went to bed last night al the sites in my profile were functioning correctly and the proofs of payment are my own. When I logged in this morning one of the sites has its domain suspended (and the proofs are still my own ). Anyone checking my profle during my night would have thought I was promoting a scam site but that was not the case at all Over two years ago I caught a Lotter who was recruiting using false proofs. The situation is no better and no worse than it was then. There will always be scammers and there will always be those who are gullible. What does seem to be losing ground is common sense

You can leave off the 'it' bit because that stands for Italy Yes I have seen that site mentioned a lot this week and that is oh so sad. Especially when one user was saying they had got paid a lot from them too Every day there are new users who come here and a new online earning world appears before them and they are the ones that should be protected. There are many of us here who can try and steer them clear of those scammers even without directing them to anything else and hopefully they will listen

Hello there dianait. I understand that it's not your fault. But what about that sites that we all know that are scam, and they are marked as so a long time ago. (like bux.to for instance) Newbies are newbies. We all were, and we all are with something new. So yes they promote these sites without knowing. What about the ones that know it's a scam site but still introduce it

I know, I do the same. But don't you feel disappointed when you find out that someone links you to a scam site whilst they say that is 100% legit?

yea it bothers me but I just tell them I am not going to join it because it is a scam site. Hate it when they argue back that it isnt because I just imagine them with tears in their eyes telling me its not. Not sure why but I always think that.

OMG.. First of all, I just opened myLot 2 minutes ago and at the top of my page I see your discussion. Secondly, you are an IT guy? I am an IT gal! Ewww gross! Finally, I totally agree with you. It is sad when people don't actually get paid by sites and then try selling the idea to newbies. It's just not right. As a rule, aren't people supposed to market only those sites that have helped them in some way? Well, that is what I thought. . At the very least, if one is marketing a new site they have not been paid by or whatever, they can at least mention that it is new and they are trying it out too. Sad that honesty isn't the most important thing according to many, when it comes to money.

First: OMG OMG! Secondly: OMG OMG And finally: Yes I understand if the site is new and no one has paid so no one really knows (even if there are ways to tell, but let it be) But what about sites that were made near 2004 that ARE a scam and they still try to introducte?

I see your point and truly does appear evident to me too. I am not able to evaluate sites are you may be so maybe you would not mind disclosing your findings about such sites. IT would be so helpful to many.

I never try to promote scam sites or new ones like many other do---you only find those sites which paid me and i'm sure they're legit enough to backup.I make sure that i add up my payment proofs to show that they're paying and indeed legit.I'm damn bad when it comes to getting referrals for my sites---offlate i have been at the back of some ---i do not have so much time to participate in the forums you mentioned that day for referral exchanges.I do not join every other site i come accross though---i do proper research before joining them and most of it i would look forward for a recent payment proof.

It could very well be ignorance that is the cause of some of this. If say a site was a scam and they knew that said site was a scam, they wouldn't be done with it, right? What benefit is it to a person that is supporting a scammed site? Nothing. But, they continue to support a scammed site... why? Probably because they don't know it is a scam in the first place. I can't say I can stop respecting a person because of their choices in life or what they do. I can say that I would like to know if something was a scam in the first place. If someone told me a site is a scam, I also wouldn't just suddenly drop it either without supporting evidence, especially if they have paid me previously. I'm not going to lie, there are people that are really stubborn out there and will try to impose a scammed site that is clearly a scammed site... but I can only question their motive there.

Well what do you see in mine? I don't know how they seek profit by doing it. Perhaps every site is legit for them... or they have just come back from the future, with future proofs! Not so sure about fish-kicking. Never seen a fish with kick-able ...

That is sad that someone would promote a scam site. I have only promoted youdata and readbud. I took down the youdata, as I have not had an offer in weeks, however, I did get paid a few dollars with them thru paypal rather quickly. I only promote readbud now. I have made about $14 with them so far in 14 days.

I must admit, this is one of the best discussion topics I've encountered here on Mylot. I believe that honesty is the best policy and its sad when someone gets scammed, because it really can hurt their reputation even though their efforts were indeed sincere. The last thing I want to do is promote a scam site, in fact, I just removed one of my banners when the site was blocked for being an "attack site" after I had been active there for a few years without problems and had made some good contacts there. Like the saying goes "A few rotten apples...". Of course there are many people who want to make money online, but in my opinion, most of them are sincere in there efforts, others are indeed driven by greed. If you are aware of any scam sites listed on my profile, I would appreciate knowing which ones they are. I value my reputation.

hello valkerion, LOL. Totally! It is always up to us whether to eat the bait and have some taste of it. I'm not saying that some programs that our c0-lotters are into are most scam. Nope. But certainly there are few who would even send some direct message asking you to join some programs but it was so obvious that the said site is not trusted. The ones that I don't like are payment proofs that are not real/authentic. Like what you've said it is better to evaluate sites or programs first before joining any of it. Because in the end we are the ones whose going to suffer.

Yeah, as far as I am concerned, I think I usually just set them aside, which I do not like them the way they provide me to do. In my opinion, though I am trying my best to make money online, but I think they should not use that kind of way to make money to make me as their refferals online. For them , I think they should try a better way to make people as their refferals just people's willingness.

Well I am a slow earner I have here for 3 month but I have not got any one as referral yet. I planning to ask my friend joining after I got my first payment so I will not ask to join a scam site. I hope it will work to keep my friend trust on me. Its sound silly but that my way in earning money here.

Yea I hate when this happen, it saddens me. People care more about the money than actually helping people to achieve success online. I always make sure to check up on sites that look suspicious beforehand, and its very obvious when there is something fishy about the site. I don't respect people who lie simply for the sake of another referral, its shameless.

This would be why I tend to stay away from other work from home people pushing other sites. I told some friends about ML and one other place but made it clear that it was more pocket money type work and that it was WORK. I don't look at any of these areas as having fun, the site really isn't as the majority of people are rude and the forum is a pain to manage. The problem is as long as so many My Lot users continue to be unable to see this as work, the scams will continue to be posted and promoted. Because they won't be earning a decent amount here so they wouldn't need to go looking for the non-existent easy dollar.
