How to make a print screen without using the print screen button at my lop top keyboard. I try to used this way
1. press the "prt sc" button
2. open the "paint" application
3. paste it
But I can not perform the third step but there is nothing to paste?
Could you help me? Is there any other way to do it? I want to make a payment proof from my online earnings.
Thanks for your help.

I hit F12 before hitting 'print screen'.
Not sure if that makes any difference but it was how I was taught to do it.

this is the only i used to do when i want a screen shot. and it even works with the paint program. though i have other programs installed here, i prefer using the paint to paste and save the file, before editing it in another program.

In Vista and 7, there is a "Snipping Tool" better than the PrintScreen.
You can use some capture utilities :
-- This "Print Screen" does all in one keystroke, and saves times :

-- "Snippy" is a port of the Vista Snipping Tool for XP :
