Do you ever try to understand the responses in your topic?

Since we're all here like a conference in the United Nations - where different nationalities gather and strive hard to really be understood. Do you find the time to truly read and re-read the responses of the people who joined in your topic?
Misunderstanding, even here in mylot, is usually due to statements that were misunderstood or due to wrong choices of words used. Not to mention that neither of us truly knows the 'tone' of the person while typing his ideas. Instead, it's all about how we assumed the 'mood' of the person is when he/she was creating his/her response.
I know the icons might help. But still, it's a far cry for the real emotion of the person typing.
So, do you ever read or re-read or perhaps understand what the writer or mylotter was saying before you react?

I am pretty new here on my Lot but I would like to understand all responces
I know sometimes it´s not easy as people from around the world talk mto each other...all on differnt level of the english language, but I think this is some kind of challange.
be all fair ...if you do not understand a response ask politly, again explain you have a hard time to understand and for sure for both participants it wil be helpfull to discover where the language problem is
but never laugh at somebody else...you wouldn´t want this to be one to you-would you?
so all in all I guess sometimes it might be hard to understand but ther is always a way to find the solution

I do try to understand them. If I don't understand the statement, tendency is for me to respond with a clarification message.
