I broke my pair of glasses last month and now I am currently taking into consideration getting a new pair of glasses because my headache occurs more often now and I thought I need a new one. I've been wanting to have a transition lens for my eye glasses but I never actually seen any close friend wear one for me to be able to ask benefits or good things about the transition lens. have you tried using these kind of lens? What can you say about it? will you advice me to get one too?

I vote no. My mom has them and when I got my new glasses she recommended them to me. I hate them. first off, right after i got them I was working and it took like 10 minutes for them to lose their shade when I was inside which made working kind of hard. Then they change at the slightest light outside, so even in winter with no sun shinning they were shaded. Then of all places, when I'm driving in my car, they won't change for some reason, not matter how bright the sun is. And i feel like a idiot going inside with shaded glasses on. I'm hoping to get new ones soon and I will not be getting the transition lenses in them.

sharlionse I had them in my teens many years ago and they actually hurt my eyes as they stayed shaded too long so inside when you need them to be unshaded they took too long, and caused my eyes to get worse so never got them again, just not right for me I know.

but I have a problem with bright lights, I have astigmatism so I thought I need the shade.. but if I'll look like a fool having a shade inside the building then I opt not to have it..
