All my tattoos are my own artwork. I spent a lot of time designing my tattoos and was lucky enough to have them done by an expert tattoo artist.

I designed and hand-drew all of my own tattoos- I have always liked to draw and paint as a hobby. My most recent one was my chest piece. It's three roses (in a very art-nouveau style) with an intricate strand of pearls running around it. I absolutely love how it turned out. It's meaning is kind of vague, but relates to my obsession with vanity and society's obsession with surface-beauty.

it´s great to see more people design their tattoos as I only see in my culture more and mor young people just go to a studio to get just some sort of tattoo but I think Tattoo is something very special, very private-not just some kind of fashion!

I agree- I think tattoos should be unique, not some pre-designed flash!

I haven't! Their is no way that I could as I can't draw to save my life! But the tattoos that I do have are a few tattoos in one. I narrow it down to about 3 tattoos and then pick something that I like the best out of all of them and then get the one tattoo with the 3 things that I like best!

I would never design my own tattoo because I cant Draw so it would look very silly if I had a Tattoo of a stick figure.

I designed my own back piece, I drew a koi with waves behind it, similar to the waves in old Japanese wood block prints, such as "The Great Wave". I took almost 2 years to draw it out and get it perfect, the end result was amazing. I had the work done at Mos Eisleys Tattoos in Grand Rapids, MI. It took a total of 9 hours to complete.

I drew mine myself, though I must admit it doesn't have any meaning it is just a pretty outline of a dove. I just wanted something simple- egyptian hieroglyphics is a cool type of tattoo to have. I don't know of anyone with anything like that!
