Hey everyone! What do you do to earn additional income? I braid hair, blog, sell items on craigslist, and work part time doing online customer service. Just curious about what others do to make extra money on the side and would like to know how it's working for you?

I'm trying to earn some extra money on the internet but is to hard. I'm currently writing on an online publication but I think it doesn't pay enough, I'm also a freelance webdesigner but sometimes it gets hard to get new clients.

Have you posted your web designer services on craigslist? This site should help you get new clients. Do you have a website or blog? Having a website where others can see your work should help you also. There is a site called elance.com that pays freelancers to take on projects. You should give it a try.

I used to teach online as my part time job but now it has became my full time work. Before i did a lot of part-time's like selling stuff at ebay, or even to my friends. I even cooked bbq just to earn extra money. Right now I have a small lending business but mostly for friends. It can cover like the bill for electricity you know not really a lot. I want to start a blog but I just don't have anything to write on. I don't know where to start and how should I start. A lot of people are making money quite good because of that. Maybe you can give me tips about it.

If you are thinking about starting a blog, you should write about things that you are passionate about. Here's an example: I love to help people seek employment in my community so I blog about job opportunities and other ways to earn additional income. If you're into fashion, you can blog about that, If you're a parent, then you can share your knowledge about parenting through a blog. There are blogs on any topic that you could think of

I contract for a company called Verafast but there are many legitimate online customer service jobs. Here are a few Service800.com, Liveops.com, 1800flowers.com. If you research these companies, you will find all good reviews. Add me and check out my website for similar jobs.

I have an online gallery where I sell my paintings, my photomanipulations and the cards that I have made. In the future I want to add some drawings, some papercuts and maybe a few other things. I always like to experiment and to learn new techniques. I enjoying working with things like that, I don't sell a lot, but some people have bought my things and I are happy about that. I also like to make some extra money on PTP sites, and I am a member of a couple of sites where I get paid for creating and responding to discussions.

I basically do stuff like mylot online to earn a little bit of extra money. It's not a whole lot of income most times, but every little bit really helps! I've been looking for other thing that I could do from home. I thought about selling things I crocheted, but the time required to make things isn't worth what I could get for selling items. I also tried getting a transcription job, but it's really hard to find jobs like that online, especially since I don't have a degree or any experience in it. I'm curious, what do you sell on craigslist, if you don't mind me asking?

Hi Phyrre! So, you like to crochet? You should consider offering your services on Craigslist. Its free unlike ebay and you could make items per request. I sell everything on Craigslist! Mostly items that I no longer use and then when I run out of things to sell, I look under the "free stuff" section on Craigslist... pick those items up and sell them as well. lol. Since, I braid hair as well, I offer my services under the "service offered" section of Craigslist. I'm literally the Queen of Craigslist (just kidding). Transcription jobs aren't the only jobs available online. There are online customer service jobs, data entry, freelance, transcription, etc... If you're in the U.S. and interested in data entry, you should check diondatasolutions.com and driverguide.com for part time positions.
