What was her boyfriend doing while this was going on? Where the police called? It sounds to me like your daughter should really look at her friends and relationships. I hope she is Ok, and the expenses are paid by the agressor.

Now, this sounds like it is someone with a problem, and they need to be removed from the streets for the safety of others. I hope and trust the law deals with them in the appropriate way.

The police were called straight away. Her boyfriend had been in front of her walking home with his friend and my daughter and her friend were miles behind them.By the time the boyfriend and his friend heard my daughter shouting it was too late as there were other people there pulling the girl off my daughter. My daughter will be pressing charges and the girl is known for beating people up for no reason.

This happened to her as her and a friend was walking past the persons house, the girl ran up behind my daughter and when my daughter turned round she then head butted her in the nose. The house where the girl came from are known for this kind of thing as they have to keep moving when trouble starts and the council seem to move them from one estate to another.

Hi, jugsugs. I am so sorry to hear about this. I hope that you can find out more information from your daughter when she feels up to talking. Your daughter should and need to do an Incident Report at the police station. Don't let this go away that easily. This girl could be charged for an assault and battery. With a possible intent to kill! It is bad nowadays. Even young kids are being violent towards each other. It is really bad in this world. I hope that your daughter will feel better much soon. Protect her and ask her what went on for this to happen. Get some answers because you need to know. Tell her to lay low for a while. Get the law authorities involved. They need to know..

The kids of today for the most part are out of control. They are wild and crazy and I believe part of the problem are parents not being parents. Parents are trying to be friends to their kids instead of implementing rules for them. I also think video games have alot to do with the crimes that the kids are committing today. I truly hope your daughter is ok and stays away from this group of people.

Was the girl that attacked your daughter a close friend or past girlfriend of the current boyfriend? Maybe it was a jealousy issue? Or maybe there was some sort of dispute over something at school?

That's a shame to hear about your daughtor I hope she'll be alright. But, more and more I hear about the human race is decentergrating. and the theroy of us being animals is coming out more and more.
With our so-called intlegentance we use it just as much as the rest of the animal race does survival of the fittest and all that crapp.

The girl that did this to my daughter has just moved to the estate where my daughter was walking as the council have to keep moving them around as they cause these kinds of problems. It seems that there is alot of people out there that just like starting fights aswell as getting drunk and causing upset in other places with people.

I am also afraid when I see hoe angry young people around me are.I know it is due to the time we live in because they see this type of behaviour everywhere around them-in films,games...Something should be changed but I don't know what.I am afraid how am I going to keep my own children away from this whole violence!

I really don't know why teenagers right now have the confidence and do not have fear on hurting someone. Maybe that girl have company while she done it to your daughter. These are the teenager that do not have a guidance coming from their parents. this is when they are influenced by certain gang or group. they don't think of the consenquences of their act but they value revenge more.

well, I see that this was a year ago, but I am still going to say that I am sorry to hear about your daughter. I believe that the violence that young kids are seeing on television has a lot to do with the way that they act. I do not know why that girls have to be as mean as they are now.

oh wow..i hope she's recovered soon.
some kids seem to be borderline feral anymore.they know you can't punish them,so they do what they want.
i see kids tormenting people 2 and 3 times their age on the main road here all the time.they're going to pick the wrong person one of these days.

People don't look out for each other anymore. My father tells me when he was a child all the adults looked after each others children so if you did something bad your mama or dad would know about it because they'd hear it from the neighborhood.

life is really getting terrible these days. with the little guys doing such evil things. i also have no clear ideas why kids are acting these ways. i hope your girl gets well quickly. yes, you have to report that to the police so the other girl could be charged. is that possible?

That is terrible that happened to your daughter, my question is what good was her boyfriend that he could not stop the battery? There are always two side to every story. Still I don't condone what happened. I hope you have the police looking into that?

might be some envy or enmity between the two...there are many things going on between youngsters these days..we don't know about...my daughter is just 11 and she keeps telling me how the girls behave with her in school...and i get surprised that from where do they get so much time and brain to discuss or talk about such things...take care of her ....

My goodness jugsjugs that is awful! I do hope she is okay and that she has someone to talk to in regards to the trauma she’s been through. Did she report the incident to the police? It would be a good idea to find out why this happened and how to avoid such an incident in the future although this is not always possible. I am sorry and I hope your daughter is not in too much pain.

This response may be a bit too late, but I hope your daughter is already fine by now.
When I see young people of today, I sometimes don't understand them. It's not that I am old. There is just a sense of 'if you're not with us, you're against us' with kids. And this is sometimes what leads them into trouble.
Just my opinion.
