ask him if he has anything else to say LOL. My mom is the same way. Yes it gets on my nerves, I start toning her out. And even I tend to just deal with it she as old as she is, is never going to change.

The only ones that keep repeating themselves to me are my kids, specially when I'm in the middle of talking with someone or doing something. It's like they think I don't hear them or the world has to stop cuz they have a thought they wish to share, or an observation they feel is so extremely important it cant wait half a second. Then I get annoied, otherwise I cn ignore just about anybody else when they start behaving like my 10 year olds .

It depends on the situation. My grandmother is suffering from dementia and she tends to repeat the same things over and over. I never get annoyed, because I know that she can't help it, it is part of her illness. But when my husband does the same thing I tend to get annoyed pretty quickly. I love him very much, but he has a habit of telling the same stories over and over, and I get impatient when that happens. Sometimes he keeps on asking me the same questions, even though I already answered them and that can also make me annoyed. I sometimes wish I were more patient

oh yes I do have patience but when I come across people like that then I sure run out of patience and it does not take long.

When I was a kid I was short tempered, but with age and maturity I've learnt how to handle temper because anger doesn't ever produce any good result for me like destruction of my own creation-a happy relationship.Mostly I find anger comes from ego which is the by product of excessive demand created in mind.Hence, one should learn how to beat the heat of anger and ego.
Thanks

For me it really depends on the person, and the situation. For instance, I do not get annoyed easily while I am at work because I have to interface with the public on a daily basis, and therefore it would be detrimental to my employment to become easily annoyed. However, most other times I find that a great many people just rub me the wrong way. Most likely the problem is on my end, but that really doesn't have any bearing on this discussion :P

Someone repeating themselves over and over is a huge pet peeve of mine. My mom is the main one that does it so it's hard to deal with it sometimes especially since she's a wonderful person. I guess ever since I served in Iraq I tend to have more of a short fuse every day so I could go on for hours about what annoys me or ticks me off lol. To answer your question, I start getting annoyed the first time they repeat themselves and it only gets worse if they start doing it more than that! :/
Hope we can all change our tempers a bit and be more understanding and patient with people even if they tend to test it at times. Happy mylotting.

It usually takes a couple of repetitions for me to get annoyed, but for me to get angry at them roughly 4 minutes of continuous repition and ill snap at them.
