For all of you Cold Sore sufferers...

I've found quite an interesting super-fast healer! So, this morning, I woke up and had a cold sore. I forgot to grab medicine for it when I left the house, and it was bugging me during the day. So I started to think...I just really need to clean it, and try to kill the virus; that way it'll go away faster. To the point, I was desperate, and decided to try my stain remover stick. It sounds so icky, but the chemicals in it completely killed the cold sore. Mine usually take about 10 days to completely heal, and this one (that I got this morning) looks about 8 days old..almost healed! I was using just a plain CVS brand stain remover stick. It was a liquid inside, with a felt type applicator. I bet any brand would work though. Put a little on your finger, and apply it as often as possible, directly on the sore. Be careful not to get any in your mouth! Try this out next time you get one of those little buggers. For all the rest of you cold sore sufferers, what do you do when you get a cold sore? Any other random remedies?
