Yes,i agree that mothers can be friends,as mom is close to my heart,my mom is sprightly, independent and a person of high morality. she is my best friend ,the one person i can confide in. She always cheers me up. she tells me ,"if i faint in the day of adversity,our strength is small". God bless my mom with a long and healthy life and if a wish i made come true,it would be "let every child have a wonderful mother like i do".

Hi preciousnic, to the contrary, my mom was very strict. I was close to my dad. He was an optimistic and generous person. We could hear his laughter every now and then. He was so caring and considerate. I could share almost everything with him. I have a grown up son and he is close to me. He treats me as his best friend. We share our joys and sorrows whenever he is back to the hometown. I have a strict mom whereas he has a strict dad. I'm really glad that he more than willing to share almost everything of him with me. It's really fantastic that mom and son can be best friend Happy posting

I am on the exact same page as you are with this matter. My mother is the best friend that I've ever known. She has been there for me for the past 30 years and now that I am an adult, I think that she is the person that I can talk to about everything. She doesn't care whether or not I have money and she is the only friend that I've ever had that is not going to judge me for the things that I do or don't have in my life. I think that anyone that thinks mothers and daughter's can't be friends is completely wrong.

same with you, my mother is my confidant and my best friend. i love her more now that im a mom too, now that i know what she has been through. maybe not to much when it comes to fashion nd boys...lol but definitely with work and life.

I totally agree with you. I love my mother so much and it would hurt me more if she would get hurt.
