I love all animals especially dogs. I have grown up with dogs all my life. Right now I have a pit bull mix Bandit and she is a great dog. She was abused when I first got her off the street at six months. Now she is 10 is spoiled rotten and has me well trained. She taught me that Pit Bulls are not the evil dogs the news likes to protray. It is the owner and not the dog. If you beat a animal all the time of course it is always going to be in attack mode defending itself. If you show it nothing but love you get it back and that is all you get a lot of love.
Dogs know I really like them because they always come right up to me and make friends. I have helped a few strays along the way and just people's dogs when they are out for a walk. Most of the time the dog is nicer than the person walking them. But whatever I enjoy the dog more than the person.

Thanks for the great question. Great to find another animal lover on here even though you can't have pets right now.

We do have a cat, but we too travel quite much. When we travel, our grandparents come and take care of our cat
I love my cat over (almost) all and I would do (almost) anything for it.
We have had also over 10 chickens, 3 bunnies, 2 rams, 1 goldfish, 1 dog (for 1/2 day) and also 2 hares

No, but we used to. We were actually in France for 3 years and we had all kinds of animals there (I live in Finland). We had the goldfish, the dog, the 3 bunnies and the 2 rams in Finland (we have a nice big house, but it's not on the countryside), and the rest in France where we did live on countryside
The reason why we had a dog for only 1/2 days was because it just started following us to our house, and we started taking care of him. We even went to get some dog food for it, but then it's real owner cam and got it. Our babysitter (yes I was so young that I needed a babysitter) knew the owner and had called him. It was kind of sad, but the dog still had had time to poop everywhere in our house
Actually I think that we had the dog for 1 and 1/2 days

I love animals and my husband and I have several pets. We have 6 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, a cat and a dog. The rabbits were our first pets, and I love playing with them and taking care of them. The live in 3 big cages, and all of the cages are in our living room. Our guinea pigs live in a separate room, because the other animals can't leave them alone. I have only had the guinea pigs for a few months and they were a present from my husband Our got our cat from a shelter and she is 3 years old. Our dog is a golden retriever. He is 9 months old and he is a very active and lively dog.

Im so happy that you adopted. adopted animals are normally the sweetest animals because they know that you saved them. I always wanted a bunny, but my mom didnt want one in the house and either does my boyfried. they both grew up in the country and had them and said that they smelled bad.

I own pets, two cute turtles ( but now they are big and scary ). At first i like them, but now i rarely play with them. But i do still care about them. Although i own pets. But i am not a super animal lover. I don't really care about animal right. As long it is not a rare and protected animal, i don't really care if some one hurt them and hunt them down. Well that's it from me.

My husband owns 3 dogs. And they love he and his mom so dearly. Even if I come close to them, the dogs don't spare me. I managed to be friends with one dog, but the other two just hates me for no reason at all. I guess, they look at me with suspicion. Does anybody have tips and tricks to help me with this issue hehe.

i sure this will happen because most dog will not like when anybody come near them if they feel stranger. so you must frequently serve it food and drink try to go near it by feed the dog a packet of biscuit or bread. so this will make your more closer to the dog. whenever you husband or his mum spare their time with that dogs try to join them so that the dog not feel you as a stranger. happy mylotting

We have four dogs. I love them and now that im a stay at home mom I got to spend some more time with them. It does make it hard to travel though. We go back to michigan for christmas every year (we live i texas) and this last year we had to find someone to watch the dogs becasue it would be to hard to take them with two young kids. We use to take them with though before we had the kids.
