Are you earning money online? When did you start earning money online?
I started earning money online two years ago when I found out about the writing sites online. I became active after six months of surfing the internet for a way to earn money online. I earned my first hundred dollar in The later months of 2008, from then on I earned fifty or more dollars monthly depending on the number of hours I spend writing online.

I started earning money online in the year 2008.That time I've lost my job.As I can still remember,I went to an internet cafe and went to jobstreet.com site to look for a job. When I opened my e-mail,i saw an e-mail from one of my college friends. In the e-mail,he discussed about mylot. At first,I am really in doubt to join the site.I told myself that it is just a waste of time and effort. But after a week,i came to realized that I have to be practical in life.I will lose nothing if i will try the site.So what I did is I opened my e mail again and registered at one in the site.At first,I am really confused on what to do in the site.So I browse the site the whole day.I've read on how the members write discussion and how they respond to specific discussion. Now, I am one the old members of the site.I am really happy that I took the risk to be part of the is site,I really owe it from my friend.I don't say that i was able to survive because of this site. But the learning that I've got is what is important to me and as well the people that I've met from different walks of life not only in my location but also around the world.See you around.Happy mylotting!

I have been experimenting with online earning since 2008. So far with my free blogger blog I have earned more than US$ 500. Now I am looking into more ways to earn money online especially by uploading photos etc. If anybody can suggest good sites where we can make money by uploading photos, it will be of great help to me.
Happy mylotting!

hi masmasika,
I started earning money online after I graduated from college and that was year 2008. My parents do not allow me to teach right away because they said it is very tough job. During that time, I am preparing for my board exam and my family just want me to pass the exam. They just told me that I can find a job provided that it will not hamper me from my reviewing. As we already have internet connection that time, I start to surf on internet. At first, I don't know that I can earn money online. But then, through surfing I met someone and I apply on her as an encoder. I earn through encoding at least $100 a month during that time. My earning depends on how fast I am in typing. Then I also met someone from internet who introduced me mylot. I earned $20 here for 2 months and I am happy that I got an increase in earnings because of mylot. Then some weeks ago, other mylotter introduced me bukisa because I started a post which is asking on some sites which I can earn through writing. I hope I can have more money making online sites in the future. This is a good job because as of now, it is very hard to get a job outside. So, while I am waiting for the result of my application in public school, I want to earn some money online.

I have been on mylot for about four years now. I was rather sceptical about online earning sites. However when I earned my first money I started to believe that there are trusthworty sites that you can earn online from. Working online depends how much time I do have at my disposal.

I started in 2007 through web content writing. I wrote for a local company here in the Philippines. I wouldn't mention the site since I discourage people to try because of the appalling payment. Just wrote more than 20 articles before I stop for some time. I started writing again in 2009 through sharonbucks, at which I earned a lot for 3 months. Then started blogging when there is not task to work on here in mylot. (Refer to my profile for the blog.)
I almost forget, I also joined triond and just recently hubpages. Wish me luck.
Can you recommend sites which pay upfront, somewhat similar to textbroker, yet accept international writers?
Thanks and God bless.

I realise that we can earn online via writing but it takes time, commitment and deligence. I have not collected any money as yet as I have not reached the required figure but I am planning on that. Presently I am on a great writing site that offers contest, incentives and good helps for writing and I am enjoying it. I meet great writers and I am learning. To writing extensively you have to read a lot and be consistent. I am planning to have a business about writing so I am in for the long haul.
By the way you can come along with me and you will not regrete this this move.

I started earning money on line from writing articles for about a year. Earnings are the same as you, but can be much more. The fact is I have other jobs to do and the time dedicated to writing articles is short. There are months when I couldn't write at all because I had no time. The good thing is I still earned some money from traffic on my articles. I love writing as it is a real possibility of earning money.

Yes, writing sites are good because your articles will be earning for as long as the site is active.

I started earning about 3 months ago and I have made hundred dollars nearly. Well - my aim was to earn 250$ online within a year and get myself an electric guitar from Yamaha and the other commodities like Amplifier, strings. Let us see what happens as time passes.

I started earning money around 5 years go writing product reviews for Ciao. I still do a little there, but I find it very tedious and almost boring to write about products. I am more into getting involved with discussions. It has been a slow trip earning money from the Internet. Sites have come and go and I have even lost money by advertsiing for referrals. I think to earn anything worthwhile, you have to get active referrals, and that is the most difficult part. I am surprised however, how so many people I refer are not prepared to work and get their own referrals. It would be much better if people would do what they set out to do.. _Derek

I chanced upon mylot whilst surfing the net looking for some nice programs to read up and join etc.. and then when I came upon mylot, the rest is history. I don't really look upon earning online as something permanent, just something on the extra side.. it's good coffee money, for what I always say. But so far, the experiences I have with making friends and networking have been fun. If only I have more time in a day, then I'll surely be in the lot..

I started around a year ago, when I was trying to look for some other way to earn extra money. My first site was actually mylot, and I got a lot of other sites from here. Though until now, I still don't have like a constant earning every month, cause it tends to really fluctuate depending on my laziness and on my need to earn some extra cash. LOL.

Hi Masmasika,
My first earnings from online was last year through neobux. My first account there was deactivated because I did not log-in for five months. I just started back with them and I did not make any payout because all the money I earn there I used to rent a referrals.
After that I earn from myLot. I already receive my payment for several times here even though I did not have a single referral. All my earnings (except $0.20 from a task) was from my participation at the discussions.
I also earn $20 from my articles writing job when someone from myLot ask me to do it. I did not take a writing jobs because my English is too far from good.

I started earning online in July of 2009. Since then, I really haven't become a big online earner, but I am still earning money that I wouldn't have had otherwise so that does make me happy. I tend to average around 20 dollars a month, but I'm not trying to make a full time income with the time that I am spending working online. I am at the point now, however that I am thinking about expanding my earning horizons.
