I think the W3School is the best for learning all web-techonologies like html, css, web-services, xml etc. Its online and free one. There are certification courses also.

I think HTML coding is not required to be learn now as all you need to do is programs like Frontpage and so on that could use visual methods to form codes instead of codings. If you really need to learn, you may want to learn more on Fireworks, Flash and some other higher level coding which will distinguished yourself from online bloggers. Cheers.

mmh there are many sources where you can leanr easely and for free html language somethng like htmltutorial or w3school or even html.com but i did not remember if this last one is online yet!!Normally you don't need much efforts to learn more about codes and html language too so having good study there!!
