Hi kisses, my answer to that is equivocal. That depends on what movie and who that somebody is.
If the movie is AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER, it might be with kids from high school downward. I could expect a lot of questions to answer once we get out of the movie house. But I too enjoy watching it alone.
If the movie is A WALK IN THE CLOUDS, I can only watch that with a girlfriend if in the movie house; but I can watch it alone at home.
But if I'm on a hurry and had a busy day, I would prefer to watch movies alone. That gives me time to relax my mind.

It is in every possible way more interesting if you watch movies with more people. When I watch comedy in the cinema even if it is not too funny as I hear a lot of people laughing I also start laughing. On the other hand when I have someone to watch a scary movie with me I feel great as I usually stay frightened after such films.

If I'm home I rather watch a movie by myself because then there are fewer distractions. Some people just love to talk while the movie is on and then I miss something. I also rather watch while in my bed nice and cozy and comfortable. If I go to the threatre I want to go with someone. There they can't talk because people will start to get angry.

Depends of the person that is watching with me. If is that annoying person that keeps talking, talking and talking in the whole movie, doing useless comments or talking things that are not about the movie or criticizing the movie when watching I really prefer to watch alone, without any shadow of doubt. But if is some person that don't annoy me in the movie and wait the movie to end to comment about or just talk when is really necessary to talk, I have no trouble to watch with this people.
That is the why I like to watch movies with my brother.

i have never watched a movie alone but i would love to try. i think one will be more in tuned with the movie if he/she is alone. our family seldom sees a movie together. familial bond is really not our thing and my mom is not into movies that much. we have cable TV so we watch old movies shown in star movies or hbo. old movies are better than those shown nowadays so i feel like i'm not missing much anyway :)
