can i import whisky from u.s to india?

I saw the reviews of jack daniels and ivan williams whiskeys. I just want import them . Can i be able to do it via online store. What are the restrictions on import of whiskey by indian govt. Please help me

Why import from US? Scotland makes the finest whiskey and exports it to 200 countries, including India. In fact US is the biggest importer of Scottish Whiskey, importing over 100 million bottles per annum. With France and Spain consuming nearly as much.
