Less than a month from now, the Philippines National Election 2010 will happen. This day is very important-a day that Filipinos would decide as to whom they will give them their votes, of which these votes are very important because this would either make or break our country in the near future. Before the National Election would happen, a lot of things happened which are actually election related incidents. Just like the Maguindanao Massacre, its very clear that the main cause of that brutal killings of our innocent brothers and sisters is "election" or the aspiring of an office in the government. Another one was that of ambush incident in one of the cities in our country, the Basilan war and a lot more. It's so sad that all these things happened in our country. But what is the main reason of all these things?Because the only thing I saw, is that its because of the greed desire of these people to be in the position, that is why they will just kill and do bad actions just to be in the position that they aiming for. Now,my question is that " Are the people running for an office or position in our government are worthy or can create a change and make a positive impact to our country if they would win?" " Are they really serious and true to their promises?" " Do you think they could create peace and order in our country, looking to the incidents that had happened in our country just this year?"These are my questions, that until now, made me undecided as to whom I will give my vote. As we can see on the TV ads, these aspirants are promising a lot if they would win. They said they would help us, in many ways that they can do. Alleviate Poverty, Stop Corruption, Peace and Order in Mindanao, Jobs for Filipinos, Education, Housing Projects and a lot more...but again, the question is "Are they true enough?" " who among them are saying the truth and would really do what they promise us?" My dear fellow Filipinos, I am calling that let us examine properly the election campaign and advertisements of those who are aspiring for an office, be it in your locality and/or in the national office.I want you to think of these important matters; One, a lot of them spent millions for their TV ads. Second, a lot of them are just giving us a very idealistic principles. Third, a lot of them are giving us false promises. Fourth, some of them are not that ready to hold for a certain office. Fifth, some of them don't have enough experience in terms of politics. And actually there are a lot more that we should examine before we cast our votes. But this is one of the most important matters that each one of us should think of..." in what way these aspirants could get back their expenses after election?"like for example the millions they spent for advertisements? of course, there is a way for them to have all the money they spent back. For me, I know the answer, but my fellow Filipinos, its all of you to think about it...HOW, HOW, and HOW???? just come to think about it....just think it this way...this election is just like a business that you invest that in the future you are thinking of your ROI or return on investment and of course if you do business you would always find ways and means to gain profit so that you would have your ROI...now, in this election I am for sure they also think their ROI...I doubt if no one of them do not think about it.... So, the challenge to all of us, is do not waste your votes....think, think, think...let us remember that the future of our country relies to the people who will be running our government...what kind of leader do we need? Then, let us vote wisely and please when you exercise your right to suffrage, do not let any of them buys your right... VOTE WISELY THIS MAY 2010 ELECTION!
