After suffering freeze - ups and messages saying "You are running low on disk space" I went ahead a few months ago and ordered a new computer and since I was spending money, I decided to make it as future proof as possible. So I now have a computer with a AMD 3.3 Mhz quad core Phenom II 64 bit processor, a 500 Gb HDD (no more running out of disk space) and 4 Mb of DDR3 RAM (twice as fast as DDR2)and Windows 7 64 bit OS. And I'm has happy as a kid in a sweet factory! Hope that you get a decent one, it'll be like a new lease of life. Don't forget to let us know all the geeky technical stuff - unless your are one of those ungeeky people who have no idea what's in the box that is.

You and I are definitely in the same boat. I would never be able to leave mylot, they will have to drag me away kicking and screaming because of the fact that I have come to love this place so much. That said, I would love to be able to get a new computer, but I really don't think that I would be able to afford a new computer for a while now. I hope that you are still getting a lot of entertainment out of your newer computer.

You are very lucky. My laptop fell apart. It still works but it won't stai open because the hinges are gone.

oh i hear ya on that one. i just got me a new dell computer the other day. oh my it's so cool. it's faster, and the picture is so clear and nice. i am so in love with my new computer! i love it. i hope you find one that you love too
