The next movie in this franchise is in 3D

I'm not sure if you are aware, but Saw 7 is to be released in 3D What do you think of this? Me personally, I think this is a bad idea, it's just a gimmick really, and it feels like they are jumping on the 3D movie bandwagon, especially since Avatar did so well everyone wants their movie to be in 3D, and it will be damn expensive to go see too. Me personally, if I do go and this this next instalment of the franchise I think I will go and see it in 2D.

I never go to the movies anymore but have heard how expensive the 3d movies are. I thought the 2d was bad enough.

It costs just over $20 to see a movie here in 3D, it is such a rip-off, and movies like Clash of the Titans & Alice in Wonderland went that good in 3D either (Clash of the Titans was awful full stop!). I do worry it will only be a matter of time before all movies become 3D sadly.

3D seems to be the in thing and everyone wants in on it. I just think they are trying to inject a bit of interest back into the Saw franchise to be honest. I have seen all the films but my interest peaked at the third one. I think it is a case of if you have Saw one Saw you have Saw them all I won't be going to see this one in the cinema, 3D or not. Definitely DVD rental on this one

Already the movie was very much horrifying. It was listed among the most horrifying movies. When it comes to 3d it will be a nightmare i think if small children and some people who don't have enough daring might even get unconsicous watching the movie like the old dracula. i don't think it's a good and definitely it increases the cost of watching a movie too

I agree that they are just jumping on the 3D bandwagon. Unfortunately, too many people have also done this, but without the money behind it it fails completely. The first 3D movie I saw was Scar 3D. At the time, it wasn't a new concept by any means, but that did not help the movie at all. I found that if I kept the glasses on, I began to get a headache and feel nauseous, yet if I took them off it was as if I was seeing double. As much as I love the Saw franchise, I won't be going to the cinema if the only option is 3D. If, like most other movies, it is also released in 2D I will definitely spring for that as opposed to 3D. Hopefully, number 7 will be just as gory and disgusting as number 6, only with more of a story. x
