there are so many great and 'healthy' posts here. that is awesome. i want to stress that starving yourself won't be good for your body or your weight. it will decrease your metabolism which means, once you lose the weight and start eating normally again, you will gain it back. make it a lifestyle change: limit saturated fats, increase proteins, and exercise regularly.

the best way to lose weight is to change your eating habits. Replace all junk food with fruits and vegetables. fruits and Raw veggies make great snacks and you can eat pretty much all you want. Eat like a king in the morning a prince at noon and a pauper in the evening. In other words eat a very large breakfast a medium size lunch and very little for supper. drink lots of water. and get some exercise. walking for 30 min a day even walking for 10 min at a time is good

If the shown picture is you then personally i dont really think that you are overweight, or maybe it is because i did not get to see your full body photo. Howvever, if you are really keen on losing weight, besides eating those slimming pills and taking up those slimming program which cost you tons of money, the most cheapest and lasting way is through exercise, but you need to take note that using exercise to lose weight is not easy, as you need to be very determined and persevere throughout, but always keep in mind is this is the most lasting method to maintain your weight compared to those commercial weight losing program. If you have not exercise for really a long time, then it is time to get on your feet by starting on brisk walk, if you are unable to jog. Everyday three times at least and at least fifteen minutes for each session. After a week or so, you should be able to start jogging. It is alright to jog slow, just go at your comfortable pace and carry on for fifteen to thirty minutes for each session. Remember, speed is not the objective, time duration is what you want to achieve. So dont be too bothered by the distance covered, just carry on in your own pace making sure you complete the time you set yourself. Gradually, you should be able to see results (getting fitter and slimmer) and by then, you could increase your mileage and time to about thirty to forty five minutes slow jog. This is to speed up the process of weight loss. But remember, do not run fast, the ideal target is slow jog as slow jogs burns your fats more. And of course, dont forget your proper warm up and cool down for each session so that you wont get cramps and muscles pull problem. On top of this, the most important issue is of course your diet. Many people trains hard, but they have no idea why they could not slim down, and reasons are simple, because they train hard and eat hard. This is a wrong concept. If you are going to eat more amount of food than when you dont exercise, then you might as well dont exercise and consume the same amount of food, because this is not going to work. Try to eat lesser portion of food than you usually eat, but consume more meals. Like five or six meals per day. Never eat until you have a full stomach, just eat enough to satisfy your stomach. And lastly, after every exercise, you could take something which is rich in protein to allow your body to recover faster so you wont feel so weak after three times of run in a week. After a month or two, you should be able to adapt to this routine and if you trust me, i can assure that not only will you be fitter with an acceptable weight by then, but also a flat stomach and all your flabby fats on your arms and thighs will also be gone too!

There are two "carb" diets. One is carbs only and exercise your brains out ala Susan Powder. For this diet you MUST exercise alot. If you don't the carbs won't burn off and will turn into fat. The other is NO carbs, only meat and fat. This will reduce your energy level and you will feel tired and heavy. I don't suggest either diet. Either one will only work for so long, you will gain the weight back quite easily and you will have health problems as a result. You need a balance of the 2 diets. Eat lots of veggies, lots of fishes and chicken. Drink tons of water and NO SUGAR. Read your labels. You will be surprised at what has sugar in it. Try no to eat anything white and/or refined ie. sugar, bread, pasta, potatoes. Just think healthy and do cardio exercise with some weight exercise. It may take you 3 months to see a difference, but trust me...by the time you have your formal, you will notice weight has miraculously slipped off your body. Just be patient. On any diet quick weight loss is usually only water anyway. For real weight loss you must be patient and wait for your body's metabolism to change. Try to drink water with lemon. The lemon flushes out that fat and cleans out your body. The more water you drink, the less you will retain. Good luck.
